Ron jr- the Anti-Reagan
Perhaps little Ron and his boy should actually do some reasearch instead of listening to the liberal chant of death.

And if GWB is reelected, his first EO should be to designate Reagan the Younger a disaster area.

This is an overt attempt at gaining some of the Reagan sympathy vote.

I don't know why everyone is making such a bid deal about embryonic stem cell research. They're giving people the impression that people are needlessly dying because the government refuses to fund the research. There's a couple of problems with the whole issue.
First, why aren't private funds pouring into (investing) something that seems to hold such potential? Second, they've never had success in using the cells from babies. All of the advancements have been made in adult stem cells.

From this spewage by Kerry to an Aspen audience on 6/21/04.....
We need a president who believes in science again in America," Kerry said. "We need to be prepared, and one of the first things that I will do as president by executive order immediately is reverse the gag rule and also move America forward to do stem cell research and begin to find the cures we need."
Source
I was looking for past Kerry statements about the first EO he said he would enact because I'm certain that he said the same thing about an entirely different subject....
I'll find it.

Kerry didn't tell him on the phone, he told him while they were spooning.

Well, I think stem cell research is very promising but I don't think tax money should be used to fund it like many other projects that have promise. Tell me why private pharma can't do it as they do so much in the drug field ? I believe they will and the benefits won't necessarily come from fetal stem cells. We understand so little about cellular machinery at present but I am constantly amazed at the progress being made.

Wow, so RR wants to stop all research? why?
To: Howlin
I would say first of all,
if John F. Kerry did tell Ron Reagan Jr that his first EO as president would involve embryonic stem cell research, it would be just one more proof (as if we needed another proof) that John F. Kerry doesn't care about the unborn.
However, more importantly, why should Ron Reagan Jr. take the word of such a flip-flopper as John F. Kerry? If he really believes that, he is dumber than a ton of bricks.
