FROM THE CELEB ATHEIST LIST
Ron Reagan Jr., Talk Host ent Internet Movie Database
Ron had a short lived talk show a few years ago. On one show, he interviewed Charles Manson at Manson's current cell of residence. Manson began "preaching" his "message". During it, he turned to Reagan and asked, "Do you believe in god?" "No, I do not," Ron responded.

Atheism may cure religious terrorism, but those terrorists would find another rationale in a heartbeat. I think they are more akin to the Godless commies, who also loved to murder for their idea, then they are to normal religious people.
A bird in the hand verus an unknown X (which may be zero) in the bush.
All hail the Circle of the Black Thorn
Another City of Heroes fan?
My mistake, that was Angel. I think.
OK, OK, so he's not a junior...But, he is a dope!
Right, you were likely a CINO, not a real Christian. Just going to church doesn't count. Until someone puts their faith in Christ and becomes a servant of him, they are not saved.
See what I mean? "Not a real Christian" when it's convenient for you. Here's a hint: You don't get to define who is Christian and who is not, as only your god can. Yes, it is possible for a real Christian to wake up and smell the BS. And no, it wasn't some failed dramatic test of faith that led to it, just a gradual realization.
'As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.'
So each of us shall give account of himself to God." Romans 14:10-12
No. I'm not defining what a real Christian is, Christ did. I'm just communicating the gospel to you. Read the parable about the good vs rocky soil. Don't get mad at me, get educated about what Christianity is. Many people such as yourself get turned off simply because they do not understand it.
Perfect name Boy, Oz trich, would not only indicate living in Oz, but having the head buried in the sand of Oz.
Choosing the path of salvation in this world, doesn't really deprive one of participating in any joy of this world, that is worth much any way. Even if it did, and it turned out there is no hereafter after all, it wouldn't matter, you're not going to lie out there in your grave and grieve about it.
On the other hand if there is a hereafter, as I believe there is, those in error will have an eternity to mourn their choice.
"OK, OK, so he's not a junior.....But he is a dope!"
And you are a Smartass.
Just couldn't pass that up, it just jumped off the page at me.
I agree with your comment.
Definitions are always subject to interpretation. Why do you think there are so many Christian denominations, often with one telling the other they're not real Christians?
You're not telling me anything new. I was raised with this stuff. And even though I'm not Christian anymore, I've continued my study of Christiany so I'm up-to-date. But don't think I continue studying it because I secretly want to be a Christian again, as I also study Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and others. It's merely an area of academic interest.
"Gives insight into man being created in the image of God."
It truly does, and even though athiests recognize no God, it should be clear even to them that all that we behold and interact with, didn't just happen by accident.
It's hard to understand how anyone can deny the existance of God, while enhaling, exhaling, reproducing, bathing in, wading in, shivering from, seeking shade from, seeing, smelling, hearing, feeling, and tasting, the proof of his presence, power, and blessings in every second of our lives.
Just pray....wish, you aren't crossing the street in front of the car of a Rapturee.
"Then again, anyone who's not a follower of your religion is "ignoring the obvious",right" Not just atheists.."
In my opinion, yes. But don't worry about it, we have not been given authority to murder and maim non-believers-that is the Islamites. Our Saviour tells us to preach the Gospel to every creature in the world, and they that believe shall be saved and those who do not shall be damned.
We are merely the Paul Reveres, you can take our warning or leave it. If God wanted to force his will upon everyone, we would all be doing his will, he is seeking volunteers.
I am not worrying about anything. I am merely pointing out that your beef with atheists is the same one you have with those who belong to religions other then yours. So, its not just that they are atheists, per se... Does this extend to other Christian sects?
No. That's a red herring. There are numerous disagreements on interpretative issues but not on the basic and core gospel. I've been in multi-denominational bible studies with all Protestant and Catholic denominations represented.
