From a coldly political standpoint, this is the PERFECT wedge issue. The vast majority of Americans stand with us on this, and even the leadership of the RAT party knows it. They are scared to death of this, as they well should be.

Seriously...that was what awakened me to the severity of this issue.
As I was making hundreds of calls to area churches to alert them to this issue, and to rally support for the Amendment, you wouldn't BELIEVE the apathy I encountered!
I even had a Rabbi from a "Conservative, Orthodox" Synagogue (their title, not mine), talk to me for 20 minutes about how wrong *I* was, and how "I should just get to know them...then I'd see all they want is their rights".
I couldn't believe my ears. I had no idea the Apostacy went this deep!
I'm actually going to be pulling my family out of our church, because of their lack of fortitude on this issue. I was told that the Pastor "won't talk about it, because it's too controversial".

By virtue of marriage being redefined against the will of the people of the state. Of course waiting two years to allow the people to decide if it was in their interests wasn't acceptable to the MASS Supremes. They decided their power took precedence over the people's inherent rights. Irreparable injury indeed. And its not going to be redressed since the violation of their rights will continue up until they can correct it.
