Talkeetna Alaska parade float attacked

The mob hurled epithets, threw rocks and threatened lives of the adults and children.
There were no police or State Troopers to keep the peace. A forest service agent was on site but refused to get involved.
Rick Browning, pictured left, says he was struck in the face by some sort of chemical packet and said it had a burning and blurring effect on his eyes and sinuses and the chemical caused him a severe headache.
Rocks and other items were thrown at the float and the persons attending it, including children, while the Star Spangled Banner played on the floats sound system. Some of the malcontents followed the float all through the parade heaping scorn and verbal abuse.
The man in the red shirt was also struck on the head by a violently thrown piece of hard candy. The children were unharmed. The loudspeakers were also damaged by flying objects.
Browning said their group was threatened with death if they stayed in town overnight while awaiting the arrival of Senator Lisa Murkowski's Sunday visit to Talkeetna.
Report is that about 100 people were abusive toward these folks, but also said it was not an endictment of the hundreds more that clapped and cheered the float. Most people were respectful, and others were apologetic of their neighbors behavior.

The left are good for attacking people when they at a safe distance and the left is protected by a mob. They are wimps and cowards.
Next time someone here goes to a parade and they plan on having a Bush Cheney sign or float, take something with you to throw back at these losers..FIGHT BACK.
Apologetic? That's nice. I would have done more than be apologetic if I were there.
Disagreement is one thing. Destroying property and endangering others is quite another.

The local talk radio is giving pretty good coverage about the opinion, and heritage, of the attackers.
GOP politicians are the same way. They go on talk shows and smile at the media thugs who are sticking the knife in their back. They allow themselves to be shouted over, interrupted. Fight.

Note to all...take a disposable camera, take picture of as many of these bozos as you can and have a designated person take the camera and RUN from the scene. Develop pictures (at a one house place close by if possible) and PRESS CHARGES!!!!
