"I'll take Zell Miller over this pansy any day of the week"

I'll second that...at least Zell paints the picture in living color!

Sadly Ann, I must agree. I don't want to harp on it but I don't think there's any denying your comment.

I agree that Michael needs to be left standing in this thing for the sake of the father only he ably represents.

Nancy does not need another reason to alienate him and his children. The woman may be a shrew but Michael is most likely to honor her for the sake of his father and his belief system.

What is fascinating is the difference between the two children raised by Jane Wyman and the two raised by Nancy Davis. To me it defies comprehension in particular because Wyman was a liberal.

Alternate headline: Atheist to give prime-time speech during Democratic National Convention.

Ah crap. I've not seen any break to date that indicates Bush is going to win re-election. This is just the latest. Democrats have Reagan Jr speaking, does that mean Nancy is going to the Democratic convention too? And Republicans have a Democratic Senator from the South, who is the most conservative of all the GOP's convention speakers-- there's no comparision in which is stronger in effect.

At the current pace, Bush is toastola.

I agree, however the Dems don't care about him. They only care that they think they have "scored" a big one. Poor Ron just doesn't get it, but he probably wouldn't care if he did.

I wonder what Nancy thinks.

Instead, Reagan suggested that the Republicans invite his half-brother, Michael, an evangelical and stem-cell research opponent, to speak at their gathering.

Ain't gonna happen.

Oh, what a really big surprise this is, he auditioned for the part at his father's funeral. Its a testimony to the towering largese of President Reagan that he didn't disown this sniveling weasel 25 years ago.

Just reading about this rotten "apple" who fell so far from the tree of his father, makes me sick. The heighth of true ignorance in regard to stem cell research will be the fodder from which he will draw his thoughts! How flawed and how sickening!

I would presume this is payback for Zell Miller.

But .. I do think the GOP got the better of the deal.

wonder if young Ron ever read any DUers who rejoiced in his father's Alzheimers? Their sentiments hold sway among the DNC convention delegates. The ONLY reason they will give a damn about Ronald Wilson Reagon's alzheimers is the wedge issue it provides among Republicans. Reagan's idiot son can enjoy his 15 minutes being cheered by those who absolutely despised his father.

With the current RINO infestation, probably not.

RINO: Reagan in name only. It is not like he is a Republican. Although they will try to counter Zell.

"Instead, Reagan suggested that the Republicans invite his half-brother..."

Ron is a master at digs.

He likes to "sow to the wind" because someone convinced him that his own wisdom is greater than his father's. A merciful God may let him "reap the whirlwind" to salvage his pathetic life.

His Father would not approve of this, but apparently that doesn't matter to Ron Jr. This disgusts me because of the firestorm the media will make of it against the President.
