One of the host of the John Batchlor ABC radio show just announced that there appears to be a report coming from Libya in Septmenmber that Saddam's WMD did exist and were being developed there, and that's why they weren't found in Iraq....

sounds like we may not have known about it until we got to Iraq. This could be part of why Libya gave in so quickly after we pressured them on their weapons.
Can't be a good day when we put our eggs in a basket of a report from Libya.
Dunno how much good it will do (I don't know if they read email) but I emailed Hannity and Rush the link to this info.
Anyone whos bothered following the details of Lybia's WMD program knows without question it was funded by Iraq. The only reason this is NEWS is because the main stream has been to stupid and biased to bother to open their eyes to reality.
Well that explains two things: Libya wanting to play nicey nice and North Korea preparing for war with the US. You just had to know the North Koreans would have their hands in this.

well we should have known this information. it is the administration's responsibility to let us know exactly what threat we're under. why aren't we more prepared?

If the timing seems "too convinient" then the information would, in the view of some, to fall prey to the conspiratorialists. Also remember how the last minute LATimes accusations against Schwartzenegger garnered him more votes than it lost him.
I am open to other interpretations of Loftus's comment as well.

Then again, we must have known something for an article in 1999 to mention the connection very briefly and vaguely.
But, if it doesn't make it to the POTUS, it doesn't really mean anything.
Please remember two things. One is that Bush losing would not mean that he is out of office at once. He still has three months left as CinC.
Second is that with Iraq Bush showed that he was willing to say Kerry the opinion polls and do what he thought necessary to protect the country and deal with the fall out later.
There wouldn't be time for a "boots on the ground" solution but remember "boots on the ground" are only necessary if you want to conquer. If you want to destroy all you need is a few ICBM's with warheads.
Would Bush do this? I doubt it but it doesn't matter. More to the point it is what Qaddafi would find a logical response. So all you need is someone to point this out to him. Qaddafi is very fond of his own skin and it wouldn't be the first time he has been the target of American wrath.
Trying to screw Bush over would be a dumb move at this point because it would move Libya back on to a very short list that they really don't want to be on. Qaddafi may not want Bush to win, but he would not want to be responsible for his losing.
I have today's interview on both video and audiotape. I also have the one from last week where he talked about a possible "October Surprise" relating to this subject. I just haven't had time to transcribe my tapes yet.

these are dangerous times and the truth needs to come out.
if john kerry wins because bush doesnt make his case, then even more american lives will be put at risk just for the sake of "foreign relations".
these are more dangerous times than world war II, a time when america was 100% behind and involved in the war. post 9/11 many have gone back to their fantasy world, and bush has become the criminal instead of the terrorists. most americans do not understand that this war will go on for years and years and years. they've been fighting with hindus for a thousand years....
time for the truth from the bush admin.
