Internet Haganah Founder Threatened with Beheading
Group Calling Itself "Kataeb Mujahedeen" Sends Beheading Threat
by John S. Pappas
Washington - 07/11/04
A group calling itself "Kataeb Mujahedeen" has threatened to behead A. Aaron Weisburd, founder of the Cyber-Terrorism watchdog site Internet Haganah - this week if he does not take down the Internet Haganah site. The threat is being taken seriously and authorities have been contacted, according to Mr. Weisburd.
The threat was received July 9th, 2004 at the headquarters of Internet Haganah in Carbondale, Illinois. The letter containing the threat was addressed to Mr. Weisburd, Internet Haganah. The sender portion of the envelope listed "Kataeb Mujahedeen" as the sender and Cherry Hill, New Jersey as the originating city. The envelope post stamp lists Philadelphia as the city of origin and is dated July 6, 2004.
Inside the envelope was a hand-written note that stated, "To the asshole Aaron Weisburd, here is our donation to you, either you close the website Internet Haganah by next week or you will be beheaded." The note was signed "Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), al-Mujahida al-Salafiya (Fundamentalist Holy Warriors) brigades, and was written in Arabic.
Internet Haganah is a group of web sites that lists Internet groups that promote Muslim-extremist terrorism. Internet Haganah is in the third year of operation. The organization relies on reader donations for income.
Mr. Weisburd refuses to take down the Internet Haganah sites, but is taking the threat seriously and has contacted authorities regarding the threat, "You have to take something like this seriously on at least some level," he said, "but I already function at a pretty high level of alert anyway, so in terms of my daily life and routine, not much actually changes."
Mr. Weisburd stated that he and Internet Haganah are not changing routines or security policy as a result of the threat. After being the victim of cyber-attacks, Internet Haganah took steps to improve security, virtually eliminating the terrorist's ability to take the site down through denial-of-service and other types of attacks. Mr. Weisburd believes that because they were successful at reducing the threat of cyber-attacks, the terrorists are now targeting him personally. "Initially the attacks were all in cyber space," he said, "and once I got all those mirrors of the site set up, network attacks against us became a waste of time. At that point, the next logical step would be for an increase in threats against me personally, which is what has happened."
When asked if Internet Haganah would ever consider capitulating to the demands of the terrorists he replied, "Oh yeah, sure thing. As soon as hell freezes. The way to respond to thugs such as these is to stand up to them."

Sounds like a phoney threat but then again, postmarked in Phila. and originating from Cherry Hill New Jersey ... it might be real. The lovely state of NJ harbors many terrorists. Some areas are havens for this scum of the earth.
Philadelphia postmark may be just another stop along the I-95 corridor.
"The lovely state of NJ harbors many terrorists."
We surely do. I've said it over and over and I'll say it again now, they should have gone DOOR TO DOOR in this state starting on 9/12/01 but they didn't. NJ is the most densly populated state in the nation and it is filled with immigrants, esp. Middle Easterners and Asians, along with everybody else.
Take a look in any Democrat-controlled U.S. city that has repudiated the Patriot Act; that's where you'll find the Islamofascist vermin, feeling right at home with their fifth column Rat allies.
Just bluster! I've got on AOL before and people didn't like my postings and threatened to hunt me down. I just told them "bring it on!"
A man after my own heart. We must never give in to Nazis whose ever flag they fly.
I hope he's packing.
Best luck to the Internet Haganah!
"or you will be headed"
could have another meaning entirely.

I've received dozens of punk Islamic threats for my weekly "Journal" anti-Muslim terrorist writings, and one fatwa. I merely expand the headers, copy it as a text file, and send it to some friends in the FBI and DHS. I save a copy for myself.
I carry a Kimber 1911A1 full-frame .45cal ACP 'Eclipse Target II', concealed, and have an AR-10 w/10 20rnd mags and a Leupold MkIV CQ/T sight available within arm's reach. My Canon dbl-door gunsafe is loaded with everything from .223 to .50cal BMG.
Beheading, my butt. Bring it on, Muslim garbage!
WWII . Amin Al Husseini spent most of the war in Berlin. He was on Hitler's payroll as he lead the Hanzar Division of Muslim SS and played a lead-role in determining the fate of Europe's Jewish community.. From Berlin, Amin Al Husseini helped organize the transfer of Nazi officers into the Middle East

Amin Al Husseini seen inspecting his Hanzar Division made up exclusively of Muslims, mostly from the Crotia/Bosnia/Serbia region. They actively lead the genocide against Serbs, Serbian Jews and Gypsies.
Amin Al Husseini meets with Adolf Hitler in November 1942, weeks before the decision to implement the Final Solution which sent Europe's Jews to the gas chamber. The Third Reich provided Amin Al Husseini with a salary and appointed him Head of the Hanzar SS Division. The Hanzar Division was made of Nazi Muslims and implemented the genocide of 250,000 Serbs, Gypsies and Jews during WWII.

Carbondale, IL is the home of Southern Illinois University. Wonder if the little vermin who sent the letter are students there? First place I'd look is in the graduate science and engineering programs.
I believe you are correct, at least I believe that is what I either read on Internet Haganah, or read on one of the Anti-Terrorism Coalition's websites (http://oblcrewinvest.showsit.info/), another group I have written about. I did not know Aaron prior to writing this piece, but he was nice enough to answer my questions. Unfortunately, we were both working with limited time and I could not delve into some of the accomplishments of Internet Haganah with him.
I can promise that Johnny P News will do everything we can to report on the good efforts of watchdog groups like Internet Haganah and ATC (http://atcterrorlist.showsit.info/) who are working hard to identify cyber-terrorists and their websites.
I guess he'll have to cancel his vacation plans for sunny Karachi...
