HOMELAND INSECURITY

Backup electrical systems failed to kick in

A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained – six days later.

Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

"the suitcase nukes would be useless after 6 years. "

I'm not certain that such weapons would have a shelf life. Take a look at the life of a mole or sleeper cell operative.

A mole is somebody who lives and works as a law abiding citizen and who holds a job in either government or in a militarily sensitive corporation. He gathers intelligence for his employer. He/she does this for either monetary reasons or ideology. Folks who do it for money are often the ones to make an "approach" to the other side. They have prior access and a product worth selling. Those who operate for ideological reasons are foreign nationals who must infiltrate. Usually trained in espionage tradecraft. Knows how to avoid detection and can stay active and undetected for decades. There are several real life examples of this. One was made into the movie: The Falcon and the Snowman.

A sleeper cell is not usually a trained operative when it comes to long term spycraft and intel gathering. They have a specific mission and it is usually a violent "one shot" operation. They act as law abiding upstanding members of the community. They await a "go code" and they act to carry out their mission. Remember the fanciful movie with Charles Bronson called Telefon?" I think that was an exaggeration, but not too much. They may anticipate capture or death. This is the most likely scenario for somebody who may reach, activate and detonate one of the suitcase nukes. They will have the skills and tools to do this, but they may not, for example be knowledgable about firearms or improvised explosives, unless it is a specific part of the mission.

Here is the kicker: The anticipated "GO CODE" is by it's own nature a tenuous thing. Such sleeper cells and moles may have to go decades before activation. That's why they are so difficult to locate and neutralize. After taking all the trouble to train and equip such operatives and then emplace them in a community with full cover identities, they would be given technology that could potentially cripple their adversary and it would have an expiration date?

No, BriarBey, there is nothing amiss with you. Have you been reading the TM thread for a while now? That will do it...

No I just stopped in today. Where the h*ll is Dr. Quix?

I've been called a lot of things, but fresh isn't one of them. There's some dust on the bottle, and my warranty expired in 1999. (I'm not Y2K compliant, either).

Very intriguing analysis.

IMO the sources for AQ nukes continue to grow- now including Russia, Khan, Iran, Libya, North Korea

And Cuba has supplied AQ with bio

imho,

There will be many more with your experience.

I encourage such people to go back to The Lord and ask

HIM

to show them what HE wants them to do about it. What is

THE MESSAGE for THEM at THAT TIME or at WHAT time?

They may have to do some earnest praying or even fasting and praying to find out.

On the other hand, they may only need to ask and quiet themselves in their usual quiet time or otherwise sufficiently to hear HIS still small voice replying.

I believe HE will be giving such vivid wakeup calls to even people who have no JESUS' BLOOD BOUGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him. However, in those cases, I doubt they are going to get a LOT of info from HIM until they DO have such a relationship with HIM.

Another question useful to ask is whether the wakeup call had to do with the person it was given to--or with one of their loved ones or associates. And if for someone else, how and when to deliver that message.

I do NOT consider you crazy in the least.

I suppose many counselors would be prone to saying it's the times we live in and you must have gone to bed thinking about the terror problem or some such. Perhaps so. Certainly would want to rule that out. But the way you described it, didn't strike me as that sort of thing.

I'd also like, myself, should such a REAL LIVE SITUATION occur--I hope I have the presence of mind to ask if I don't automatically JUST KNOW IN MY SPIRIT--DO I HAVE GOD'S GRACE AND PERMISSION to put my clothes on or not. I don't want to be like Lot's wife! And Scriptures are pretty clear about not going back to the house for one's things nor even to the edge of the field but to LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. I assume HIS SPIRIT will let us know when such a time is for each of us.

Otherwise, I think I might want to ask, if in the shower, whether I had God's grace to put clothes on, or not. Otherwise, I suppose I'd just grab the towel and run. LOL.

Have thought a lot about such times.

I realize your question was somewhat in jest, probably. But I chose to answer as above because I believe many more such experiences will occur.

Any other questions?
Blessings,

I was checking on Chicago Airport incendent and ran
across this.

"AIRFORCE ONE BREAKS DOWN"

Backup Boeing 757 Was To Bring The President Back To Washington

Jul 12, 2004 2:00 pm US/Central
OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (AP) A mechanical problem was found on President Bush's plane Monday during a routine check upon landing in Tennessee, leading the chief executive to use a smaller plane for the flight home.

There was no danger to the Boeing 747 that Bush used for the flight here or to president or anyone in his traveling entourage, said press secretary Scott McClellan.

"One of the flaps on the wing was off its track and they thought it was best to have a 757 fly down from Andrews," McClellan said.

Bush was at McGhee-Air National Guard Base. He flew from Andrews on Monday morning. Air Force One for the trip back home was to be a smaller plane, McClellan said, and the Boeing 747 was likely to undergo repairs in Tennessee.

Bush was in Tennesee to inspect a display of nuclear weapons parts and equipment from Libya and give a speech on U.S. efforts to combat terrorism.

I don't know how plausible this is, either . . . however . . .

supposedly there is also the capacity to zap regions with neutrons from satellite.

Haven't heard or read much on that score just a blip or 2 once upon a time.

I don't think a Neutron at Mecca would be best. Glass the place. Make it impossible for the Jihadi's or anyone else to return there. Let them factor that into their 'almighty' demon moon god theology.

But, we won't have the stomach to do either one. Perhaps sadly, perhaps wisely. I suspect it's best for God to deal with them. But HE MAY WELL USE US.

Ah, I get it. You mean the "smart alec" version of fresh.

Ok, I retract my earlier statement, and hereby admit to being a pure, 100%, unadulterated smart alec.

Strong drugs I can't help you with.

PhD in Clinical Psych! LOL.

I suppose you could try Handel's Water Music.

Breathe slowly 6-8 seconds in, 6-8 seconds out for 30-90 seconds. Changes brain chemistry toward relaxation.

Otherwise, vigorous exercise or some craft project that's captivating and distracting.

Or a good positive book.

Or visit an old folks' home and love on people without any visitors.
