Backup electrical systems failed to kick in

A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained – six days later.

Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

Eggs:

Can be anything small enough to throw or drop.

Japan made clay eggs or Flea Bombs in WW2., with diseased
fleas.

When the word 'eggs' came up, my first thought was
hand grenade.

I have 0.00000000000000000000% doubt of that, Granny.

But what can we expect when one starts with an aggressive, delluded, sexual pervert who sets up a demonic moon god as God and coerces at the point of a gun and sword masses of followers to worship said moon god!

Sigh.

Still am keenly interested in whatever you might be willing to share by FREEPMAIL that seems less than ideal for the thread.

Bless you and your efforts.

Is the new computer up and going yet? Do we need to track someone down in the area to help you get it up and going?

Forget where exactly you are...but here's what I can find so far...will keep looking...let me know if you find out more...the rumble sounds scary! Yikes!

From what I've found online, there's one near the Sierra Highway near Foothill...and they are talking about it impacting the 5 and 14 freeways in Newhall. That one seems to REALLY be springing up from what I'm finding...that's the only one I'm finding much new coverage on...And I'm sure resources are already low in that area b/c of the Lake Hughes fire.

Another on 10 near San Pedro St area.

Was one reported 405 at Rinaldi Street but it disappeared off the screen really quickly...so not sure if that meant it was a non-issue, or? That was about 1 hour ago.

There have been several in the area of the 60 freeway...and another new one there just reported (but one since at least early yesterday)

A new one reported at the 15/10 interchange...but that's way too far east for you to see, I'm sure...

FOX just ran a very interesting piece on Skymarshal training and uniform requirements. Seems they must be dressed in coat and tie or pantsuit for the women and very well groomed. In fact all the men must be cleanshaven. They also had some brief footage from what looked like a "shoot-house" with an airliner mockup with seats three rows across and a tactical target moving on a wire down the aisles. Looked kinda hokey to me. My IDPA club puts up better scenarios. Airliner folks are screaming (correctly I think) that this will put the cops at risk in an attack by IDing them to the hijackers. Stupid is as stupid does.

The one near me is most likely Sierra Hwy & Foothill. From where I am that looks about right. Hmmm, there seem to be many fires out there near freeways? I wonder if it is those POS's throwing something out of cars. Also the freeways you mentioned are key intersects I think. I know the one up here is the main route out of town other than the 15 east. I was just reading a few posts back that eggs were mentioned somewhere.

50% of the United States voted for Gore.

50% of the United States is communist (by whatever pretty name they choose to use, as in liberal, socialist etc.)

50% of the United States is willing to vote for kerry.

?? % of the United States will go to Civil War to win back the country? if kerry wins?

If you add the totals of the communists and muslims plus the others who do not like America, then you will see that there are more fighting to destroy us, than are supporting us and this is on our own soil.

You're welcome.

I can't bear to look, but I had a feeling it was the real deal.

In other news, I spent last night in Chicago and attended the new Millenium Park opening celebrations.

This morning as I was walking to the train to head back home, I passed by the site of an "explosion" on Monroe St. that had happened about an hour before I got there.

Heavy EMS presence.

Turns out a flammable welding tank fell off of a construction site from the 20+ floor of the building and exploded. Fortunately nobody was hurt. Shook me up though. Glad I had decided to dilly-dally in the morning and not take the earlier train....

Thanks,

Such was my rough memory

and certainly my perspective!

That is, that we have such a sizeable percentage of traitors and enemies in our midst--either passively or too often aggressively.

Your Grandmother and my Mother, would/will vote the party ticket and that will put kerry in.

If kerry wins, we loose a country.

My mother would never have understood what I would tell her
today. Her Daddy was a democrat and so was she, end of the argument with her.

They're sending a lot of crews out to that one, it looks like, and talking long term closure...

That area, in/around Newhall, in particular, sure always seems to have problems...seems like at least once a day I see something pop up on CHP about a brush fire along there, many times reported as starting from some sort of vehicle fire or a vehicle sparking it. I was honestly surprised when we drove through there up to the Bay Area 4th of July weekend how uneventful it was...fully expected on two really HOT and windy days, plus with all the traffic so more cars to potentially start problems, that we didn't see one either direction...

But I agree, A LOT of fires off the freeways and near interchanges...down here in San Diego, too. Most of them over the past week reported here have been near transition roads between two freeways.

Interesting...wonder if that's just a volume issue and if they are just 'happening' or if they are getting some 'help' in getting started.

Hope you get a miraculous calm afternoon, breeze free to give the firefighters in your area a break.

Curious if you hear anything on the news later about the rumble, as I'm sure you'll get more fire coverage in your area than we will. We still get some on the LA area fires, particularly have been on the Lake Hughes fire, but not as much as you all see!

Keep us posted!
