HOMELAND INSECURITY
Backup electrical systems failed to kick in
A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained six days later.
Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

Is 10% of the population allergic to shellfish?
Yup. U da man! :) Thanks!
IMO, 10-12 people on a flight with 125 passengers, are
not all going to have a severe alergic reaction to
shell fish.

SW Airlines does not serve a meal, only peanuts. If exposure was at airport, other flights would be effected. This is NOT food related.

I was asking, not making a point. I don't know the answer.
Do you see a pattern here? Airplanes and fumes?
Sorry about that.
The source is a bad link at the post. Anyone else see a source for this?
Yes. The first thing that comes to mind is yesterday, and some older reports, (Delta, ATL?).
Exactly!, but I expect this will explained away soon.
Actually your post is to a thread devoted to the subject..same poster I guess. The link lead to a rather lame station page...No real news there.
