Time for the BUSH campaign to LOCK & LOAD
Drudge Report stories | 7-9-04 | GLDNGUN

We have major TWO issues at play right now that are live grenades. We can't let them slip away out of Kerry's hands. We HAVE to use these issues RIGHT NOW while they are still hot and put Kerry on the defensive.

Something else we need to do is to start referring to John-John as "counselors", constantly reminding everyone that they are dispicable lawyers. Edward's $70 Million was primarily won in the courtrooms as he's taking 50-60% of his clients dubious damages. Who knows, it could lead to Tort Reform!

>>A lot depends on where you live. Here in Texas, we don't see many commercials for either candidate: Bush has this state in his hip pocket, so deep Kerry can't hope to snatch it.

I live in PA, where it's close and the prize is 21 electoral votes.

>>I have a question for all that believe Bush is campaigning for defeat. IF he wins, especially if it is by a margin that is greater than 2000, will these statements be retracted about the strategy in effect?

Well of course. If he wins, I'll eat my hat. Hell, I'll eat YOUR hat!

You think I like coming to this conclusion, that he'll lose? But this is the inescapable conclusion based on what I'm hearing on national news broadcasts. Just now they ran another story about Bush military records being destroyed. And I haven't heard anything yet about the swift boat vets who condemned John Kerry. Nothing about how he earned his purple hearts either.

The Bush campaign can't beat the Kerry campaign AND the media combined.

No, I don't think you like drawing this conclusion. I'm certain you want him to win. I can also understand why, if you are listening to the media, you feel it is over.

Look at the poll numbers. All the attacks being levied and he's still even and even ahead at times. These incessant attacks would have destroyed him if he were a lesser man.

My advise is to watch the rally the Prez just finished speaking at. It'll provide balance to the media.

---"It is a great example of John Kerry's priorities that on the day he said he did not have time to receive his intelligence briefing on threats to America, he found time to attend a Hollywood fund-raiser, filled with enough hate and vitriol to make Michael Moore blush." -Steve Schmidt, Bush-Cheney '04 Spokesman. ---

Hopefully with the spokesman saying this they'll get it out.

Show Kerry on King with the "no time statement" at the concert laughing at some obscene joke.

Show Kerry with the "American Values" clip laughing at another obscene joke - perhaps a 'diss on our military troops or patriotism in general.

Of course you may risk offending blacks if you use Whoopie's clip, and the people that worship Hollywood if you use Robin Williams. You may even help the democrats ("well if Whoopi says so it MUST be true.") I'm sure they could find something from one of the lesser known people at the "concert".

Also include the fact that he has been absent from his job as Senator for a year.

God forgive me for saying this....President Bush will not fight. It will cost him the election in my view.

I sure hope to God you are wrong. Too much is at stake. He must fight

Watch FNC. I have seen the new BC04 commercial almost once an hour today. It is the one that says "Senator Kerry has his priorities. Are They Yours?"

The HATEBUSHFEST was last night. Mehlman was out early this am w/a rebuttal & a demand that the tape be made public.

Cheney took on Leahy. W snapped back that Cheney could be President. W took on the press last week or the week before on the *European Allies* bit and said straight out:"You mean France" and went on to say that France didn't believe in saying what they meant or backing what had to be done (paraphrase).

How can you help:
Boycott all media except FNC, CSPAN and the various conservative net outlets until the election....and maybe beyond, since they are going to continue this.

Fire back yourself as each show has email response on FNC. Call on CSPAN. If you have to watch CNN or MSNBC, don't expect them to put our responses on their air. Same w/NPR.

Do not buy CDs, DVDs,books, magazines, PPV or rent movies from the BushBasher crowd. There is plenty of media from patriotic Americans. Let every outlet that purveys this cr@p know you are boycotting them and why.

Email every Kerry gaffe to everyone you know. Email every truthful report to the same people. Help arm our side. You won't change minds on the other side, so provide ammo to those on our side. Propagate the web commercials that are everywhere against the left and pro-Bush. Go to the campaign site and the RNC FLOG and email out the truth every time the other side bashes us.

Write letters to the editor
Educate
Volunteer
Donate
Repeat

In public, when confronted w/the HATEBUSH talking points, disagree in public. Stand your ground. Answer them, every time.

If you can, join the protest warriors when they are in your area. They have a website. You can join.

The campaign has been fighting back in rapid response mode for 6 weeks. If you aren't aware of it, you aren't listening. Go to the campaign web site, where the TV ads are available about 12 hrs before they hit the TV.

Bush is not going to lose. The polls have been up in our favor for almost 2 weeks. The Johns got no bump. America is not stupid, not suicidal, and not asleep. The POTUS is not a wimp and neither is Big Time.

Don't worry about that. I'm Black and believe me this freak of nature 'Whoopi' is fair game

Its time to take the gloves off and stand up for being an American...no matter what your color

Not everyone in this country is a political junkie like we are. Most don't read a newspaper or even watch network news. They get their news from Leno and Letterman.

Most won't watch the conventions.

What the campaigns are doing now is pretty irrelevant. Sure, you try to influence as many people early as you can, but the campaign really begins with the Presidential debates. That's when it counts and when the campaigns are won and lost. That's when America makes up its mind.

He's no fun, he fell right over!

Seriously, it helps to have stupid opponents like 'effen Kerry.

"Its time to take the gloves off and stand up for being an American...no matter what your color"

You're right - and hopefully fight without being too derogatory and mean ('ala Michael Moore). But at least get the issues (and some of Kerry's goofy quotes) out there. (Like the ad showing Kerry flip-floping on the vote).

By the way, my cultural sensitivity isn't the best - although I try. I wouldn't be offended as a white guy if they used Robin William's material, so why do I assume Blacks would be offended if Bush attacked Whoopie's remarks?

I totally agree with your opinion that President Bush is blowing it big time.

You can't beat the Liberals when they have free maninstream media protecting them...on top of Hollywood and other celebrities.

We have become worse than Sodom and Gommorah, IMO.

Thank you Liberal Socialist Democrats for ruining my country.

We have a President that is too decent to speak plainly about how corrupt and dangerous the Left has become, and the entire GOP Congress is a bunch of girly men, IMO.

I can't help going wobbly.....I wish they would DO SOMETHING!

I agree with you, I disagree with the punditry.

We are being asked to believe that the entire citrenry of this country has decided this election except for a 5-10% margin? No, not buying it. That defies human nature. This will be decided closer to the election. "October Surprise" wasn't designed because it was ineffective, afterall.

BTW, so true about Leno. That bit he did last night is going to haunt the Kerry/Edwards ticket for awhile.

The "Release the Tapes" ad might not have as much traction

I'm not suggesting they make an ad out of "release the tapes". I'm suggesting the GOP keep demanding the release every time they get a chance and ask Kerry what he's hiding. This will put Kerry on the defensive. Instead of attacking, he will be retreating. You never gain on the polls when you are on defense. IF they do release the tapes, THEN an ad could be made with some of the awful moments with Kerry tagging along "that's the heart and soul of America". Either way we got him if we play it right.
