Jason Gilson, a 23-year-old military veteran who served in Iraq, marched in the [annual Bainbridge Island, Washington Grand Old Fourth of July parade]. He wore his medals with pride and carried a sign that said "Veterans for Bush."
Walking the parade route with his mom, younger siblings and politically conservative friends, Jason heard words from the crowd that felt like a thousand daggers to the heart. "Baby killer!"
"Murderer!"
"Boooo!"

JUST WHAT I WAS THINKING~ Makes me SICK to hear this! I mistakenly THOUGHT we had grown up since VN War~
I am so proud that in Houston we have had two RALLIES FOR AMERICA. March 2003 and May 2004. Chris Baker, Pat Gray, Glenn Beck organized them. They were wonderful. Some of the VN vets were thanked for their service by other people in the audience.
WHAT IS WRONG with some people????????

OK I'm angry now. Very angry. But if Bush wins in November, I am going to feast on the stupid liberals' disappointment.

Jason's mother, Tamar, says a female parade announcer locked eyes on her son who was walking behind a pro-Republican group called Women in Red, White and Blue. The group supports President Bush and the troops in the fight against terrorism. According to Tamar, the female announcer sarcastically asked Jason: "And what exactly are you a veteran of?" The perceived mocking, the mother adds, set off some people in the crowd, loosing a flood of negative comments, "like a wave... a mob-style degrading." Nothing like having a mic to get the anti-troops crowd going.

Such a combo on a day of red, white and blue can only lead to fireworks -- snap, crackle and popping off during what locals call the "best small-town parade in America." What is it about these Left Coast Liberals that they think they can through sh!t at the flag, denigrate soldiers wounded in battle, make unfounded allegations against the President in war time and still call themselves Patriots and the "best small-town parade in America?"

And now my fellow Freepers you see what a hell hole of a socialist pig pen I live in. These scum here in western WA are nothing short of communist/leftist pigs. Pure scum. Garbage. And, I am trying to be nice here without sounding totally POed. I refuse to even acknowledge these pigs. I have many here in this leftist office. They make nasty Bush talks each day, knowing that I and a couple of more hear them, I just ignore them. They actually do not want to try to give me a rise, because sometimes I tend to deal physically with such pigs.

You need to move over the the East side of the Sate. Here in Chelan County (Wenatchee area), we don't have any elected officials that are Democrats and Douglas County only has one.
When I moved here from Oregon a couple of years ago I felt like I had just planted foot in Heaven. We have a few liberals but not like Western Washington or Western Oregon.
