Going on now. Roberts spoke, blamed CIA and intelligence agencies. Rockerfeller speaking, blames intelligence agencies and administration and (some) to the Congress.

Tenet wasn't fired, he stepped down. Either way, you're right, he's gone.
It's scary watching these politicians. Their lack of caring for what is right for America is amazing.
But Fox News Channel's Tony Snow had a different idea. Snow thought it might be interesting to stick to the facts for a change.
This Sunday past, Sen. Rockefeller took a play from the Terry McAuliffe playbook and simply invented a convenient history. He told Snow and a national television audience that President Bush has alarmed the nation with a speech warning that an attack from Iraq was imminent.
Snow coolly played a tape of the president's State of the Union speech where he in fact said exactly the opposite. Bush warned the Congress that the United States could not wait for a threat to become imminent, to appear suddenly and without warning.
Snow then read from a speech that Rockefeller himself had given, one in which the West Virginia Democrat had proclaimed the threat from Iraq to be imminent.
Sen. Rockefeller was exposed and embarrassed and babbled on incoherently about what an average American should have inferred from the president's speech. I think he was close to proclaiming psychic powers when the interview mercifully for him ended.
Finally, a Democratic critic of the president had been obliged to confront the facts. It doesn't happen too often. On the same day, Slow Joe Biden was allowed by Tim Russert to repeatedly dodge the hard questions such as why he had voted for the war in Iraq if it seemed like a bad idea to him now. Few can filibuster like Joe, however, and Russert didn't corner him.
It shouldn't amaze anyone that most politicians put party above country.
I'VE HAD IT WITH THESE VERY PEOPLE CRITICIZING THE CIA, BUSH ADMINISTRATION. THEY NEED TO BE CONFRONTED WITH THE FACT ALL OF THE WORLD PUT OUT THIS INTELLIGENCE REGARDING IRAQ AND WMD, THERE ARE QUOTES FROM ROCKEFELLER, KERRY, EDWARDS, CLINTOON, ETC. THAT IRAQ WAS SUCH A THREAT. WHEN WILL THE GOP, ADMINISTRATION, PRESIDENT FINALLY MAKE THEM ANSWER FOR IT???
It is possible to gauge how damaging any press briefing will be by the number of reporters in attendance.
Swift boat veterans against Kerry -- 5 reporters
Senate Intel committee against Bush --500 reporters
Ick. Surely, there's a "My Mother the Car" rerun somewhere.
I can't believe my ears. I guess everything we know is wrong, and these guys are right. How these guys can stand up and lie like this is apalling. These folks are dangerous.
Every damn liberal is getting caught in their own lies.
Just heard David Corn of The Nation (I think), ask why the second phase isn't out before the election.
And Rockefeller is saying we can work through August, to get the second phase of report out.
DON'T WE REALLY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.
The old damed if you don't and damned if you do scenario! This report along with the upcoming 911 report are NOT worth the paper they are written on. All of it is based on hindsight and second guessing thereby USELESS and politically a gotcha game.
I fervently pray we find WMD and render this REPORT null and void and expose 'committees and commissions' for what they truly are........
A PRETENTIOUS WASTE of TIME and TAX PAYERS MONEY!!
Every party has a segment reserved for stupids. Even ours. I think this issue is a dead horse, except for those who want to keep beating it. Few are listening.
Alot of the intelligence and the reasons for going to War were trumpeted by the entire Democratic party and the Clinton administration back in 1998. But, you're right, other countries had intelligence that only proved Bush was right in going into Iraq.
Roberts talking about the 18,000 bodies found in Iraq. Doesn't know how many more resolutions the UN would have had to pass. Thinks the world is a safer place without Saddam. The war and battle plan may have been argued differently, but would have voted for the war.
Arrrrgggh, Rockefeller not sure Iraq better off without Saddam. Shoot self in foot.
Rockefeller is a sanctimonious a$$
Rockerfeller: It [terrorism] is our fault because we have made the Islam committee mad at us.
[This guy needs to be sent into retirement.]
Did you know that the Arab world now hates us because we invaded Iraq? September 11 was a love bite.
