Never understanding how one is sure they didn't call all GOP or DNC sorts in their unbiased poll results......I'll wait for the Nov 3rd poll.............:o)
Votes are all that count . Instead of freeping polls to pass time go and get a neighbors vote secured for Americas future.
Just the way I'm doing it. Stay safe A51 ~!

The addition of Sen. John Edwards (news - web sites) to Kerry's ticket appears to have helped the Democrat in the South and among low-income voters What is it with "low-income voters" that they flock to support some doofus hairblownboy who's worth hundreds of millions of dollars?

I love this line: "I want Bush in there, because the other guy is like sending a boy to do a man's job." I'm surprised AP printed it.

I have heard no discussion at all about the fact that Kerry's early naming of his VP pick essentially gutted the Dem convention of any big news. So now not only has Kerry failed to get a bump from Edwards, but no one will watch the convention so he won't get a bump there either.
Breaks my heart.

Truth is, Edwards isn't a bump-worthy pick. He's largely unknown and has no constituency. He can fire up the crowds and have a good convention speech. That's about it.

840 REGISTERED VOTERS. this poll doesn't mean all that much. However, Bush is trending up in ALL polls with approval ratings doing just fine.
This does show a 3 point uptick from the previous AP/Ipsos poll. Bush hasn't fallen behind in this poll at all in the past. The fact Bush is reaching 49% is good news leading into the Dem convention. He'll fall back a bit but then rebound with great timing following the GOP Convention.
Everything is looking up.

Looks like an old Martin and Lewis skit. I see 4 more years in Bush's future. The Democrats must be writing this one off in preparation for '08.
Great!

Isn't a "dead cat bounce" the bounce a dead cat makes before it gets run over by the rear tire?

That was from the AP, huh? It sounds more like it came directly from the DNC with all of its spin and interpretations. If Bush's favorability ratings are anemic (as they say) they should have also noted that Kerry has even less iron.
