CLEVELAND (Reuters) - Democrats John Kerry and John Edwards appeared together on the campaign trail for the first time on Wednesday and declared themselves advocates for ordinary Americans squeezed by President Bush's economic policies.
In front of a huge banner proclaiming "Kerry and Edwards: A New Team for a New America," the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee told thousands of supporters that he and his newly minted running mate were America's "dream ticket."
"We've got better vision, better ideas, real plans, we've got a better sense of what's happening to America and we've got better hair," Kerry said, a reference to the well-coiffed Democratic team.

We are at war, and they have 'good hair'. I can't believe that there is more than 20% in this country who can actually take this seriously. I have to believe apathy is the reason, people can't be this stupid!

Thought this was a joke but Kerry is the joke. Serious note just occurred to me. Big issue is how liberal Kerry is and what type of people he would appoint. In his first pick he fails to balance the ticket and takes the most liberal possible running mate. Kerry is a pure left winger from Mass, and this tells you all you need to know about the type of govt. you would get.
And they are talking about Biden or Ted Kennedy for Secretary of State! Biden recently said it will be good to suffer defeat in Iraq so we don't dare threaten Syria or Iran.

Too bad Reuters and the rest of the Liberal lamestream media won't editorialize on the fact that the reason Kerry has better hair is because he spends up to $1,000 per hair styling session. The Dems are always claiming to be the party of the "little guy." How many hungry homeless could be fed if Kerry was satisfied with having average hair?

Yep. Already off to a ROARING start! There are way
yon more "bad hair" people and even "good hair" people
with bad hair days, enough to sink them. If the
bored expressions of the Kerry/Edwards wives aren't
enough. Hope those two ladies keep opening their
mouths and "expressing themselves". Teresa doesn't
appear to have too much patience with the great
unwashed (us). Her expression seems to say, "I'm
too old for this sort of stuff."

Knew a girl who had a handsome but dumb boyfriend. She once said "His head is a good place to keep his hair, but that's about it." Sounds like we have a "good place to keep their hair" presidential ticket.

"We've got better vision, better ideas, real plans Kerry's had 20 years in the Senate to implement his "better vision" and "real plans". I don't recall any landmark legislation authored by this guy. What vision? All he's done up there is inhale his own incense.
I think the Democrats decided a long time ago that Pres. Bush will be re-elected this year. So they've put up a guy who wants to run for President, but has no real desire to actually be President. Edwards is on the ticket as prep for 2008, when he'll run on his own in what they hope will be a more opportune climate for a Dem.
Somebody give me a wake up call around November 5, when this Punch and Judy show is over.
