Homosexual Lobby groups are delighted at the prospect of the John+John Democratic Presidential ticket.
The National Stonewall Democrats, a leading Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered actvist group issued a statement on Tuesday stating that, "the selection of Senator Edwards solidifies the most pro-gay ticket in the history of presidential politics."
Lengthy statements of support were also issued by Human Rights Campaign, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

Kerry/Edwards certainly is the gayest ticket in history, couldn't have said it better myself.

Sounds more like a GOP press release. Who on earth would brag about the 'most gay ticket' in history. I suggest the GOP start airing an ad immediately.

Well, we've already had a first black president who wasn't really black, so I suppose we can keep the slot for the first gay president open for Kerry [and his handsome sidekick, John Edwards].

The New JFK has created his very own John-John? That was probably his plan all along. He just had to find another John willing to go along with it.

You'd be surprised to learn that self-identified gays don't vote in a block wouldn't you? They split last election (Gore v. Bush). You forgot that the GOP has a very attractive *economic* message to and a good number of them feel if it were shown homosexuality had a genetic or other neonatal identifiable cause they'd be among the first to be aborted en masse. Not all of them support the political agenda of the self-appointed "leaders" of their community.
