JULY 2--Actor/convicted sex offender Jeffrey Jones was arrested yesterday for failing to inform Florida authorities that he had moved from a temporary residence in Sarasota where he was bunking with his mother. The 57-year-old performer, best known as the snarling principal from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," formally registered as a Sunshine State sex offender last December, months after he pleaded no contest in Los Angeles to a felony charge of paying a 14-year-old boy to pose for explicit photos. According to a probable cause affidavit, Jones was nabbed Thursday after Sarasota sheriff's deputies learned that he had moved to a new residence without informing law enforcement authorities (who tend to want to know the whereabouts of sex offenders). Jones, pictured below in a sheriff's arrest card, is facing two new felonies for failing to apprise cops of his new crib. Thanks to our pals at the MJ Morning Show for the heads up re: Jones's bust. Another celebrity who got off far too easy. This pervert should have been locked up.

He shoulda just told 'em he was taking the day off..."Your ass is mine!"
I don't quite recall, but wasn't he busted the same time as Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman), as both belonged to the same child porn ring?
Nothing to say but....
Well... there it is!
Too many notes.
Perfectly suited for that cannibal movie role.
Anybody got a Paul Reubens update?
"Anybody got a Paul Reubens update?"

Just kiddin of course!
Wonder if they can work this into the story line?
Man, he's even got the sex offender sideburns on the arrest card photo....

"Ferris" Star Facing New Allegations

Ferris Bueller's Day Off star Jeffrey Jones allegedly likes to play dress-up with kids...even when it's not Halloween.
The problem for the erstwhile Ed Rooney, however, is that the kids are not his own--and one of those kids is now suing him for sexual abuse.
The actor was hit with a civil suit Monday in Los Angeles by the same boy who was at the center of the 2002 kiddie-porn criminal case against Jones.
Jones was originally arrested in November 2002 following a yearlong child pornography sweep that also netted Paul "Pee-wee Herman" Reubens in an unrelated case.
While misdemeanor charges against Reubens were later dropped, Jones' felony case landed the actor in serious hot water.
Jones, 58, was busted with some racy pics of the teen boy. The actor initially pleaded not guilty to the crime, but, facing a potential lengthy prison sentence, Jones copped a plea. He was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to register as a sex offender and undergo counseling.
"This concludes a really painful chapter in my life. I'm sorry that this incident was allowed to occur. Such an event has never happened before, and it will never happen again," he said after the sentencing.
Unfortunately for the actor, that "really painful chapter" hasn't ended quite yet. In July, he was arrested in Florida after moving to the state and failing to register as a sex offender.
And this week he learned he must again face the sex rap as his accuser, now an adult at 19, filed a suit in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming Jones had touched his genitals and forced him to pose nude and touch himself for the camera when he was 14 years old.
According to Celebrity Justice, which first reported on the new lawsuit, Jones is also accused of giving the boy various costumes to wear, including cowboy, sailor and Indian outfits.
The accuser, whose name has not been revealed, is also suing for emotional distress, saying the incident affected his own sex life and left him severely depressed and suicidal.
Prosecutors had never charged Jones for any physical contact, and this is the first time such allegations have surfaced.
The actor's attorney, meanwhile, has called the new charges "blatantly false" and says the accuser is after money.
Jones, whose credit list includes Beetlejuice, Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow, most recently starred in HBO's Old West series Deadwood.
