No pictures. The camera died! :0(
I did get to experience a Coast Guard rescue today. Our motor just up & died, three miles out. Would not restart for love or money. I had to get towed in seven miles. The swells out on Lake Michigan were three to four feet today, with an occasional six footer thrown in for good measure. It made for an exciting tow-in!
The fishing was off-the-wall good today. Stupidly good. The best its been so far this year. In the short amount of time we were actually able to fish, things were outstanding. Everything worked (except the damn motor). We had a three nice Rainbows in the boat inside of thirty minutes, with three more released . . .
Hats off to the Milwaukee Coast Guard. Those kids and their 41 footer saved my butt today. Kathy, if the camera had only worked, I could keep you folks entertained for a week with the pics. It was surreal . . .
To: Old Sarge
Good night and sleep well, Sarge. Thanks for helping keep America safe. And thanks for helping honor our military, past and present.
