How long will this violence in Kansas continue? Clearly this is a ongoing quagmire for the U.S. and we should pull our troops out now. The Kansans clearly don't want us there or any other occupying imperial power. These shooters are merely resistance fighters against the evil of George Bush and Haliburton. We must not blame resistance fighters and revolutionaries but instead look at how we have contributed to the conditions that made this happen.

That's a ridiculous thing for them to do at this point. I don't understand why a deputy will be giving the press conference instead of letting a police spokesperson give updates to the press. Is there some tug-of-war situation between the WyCo. deputies and the KCK police?

I don't get it.

Shooting at Xerox, national attention. Shooting at a NY Subway, national attention.

Not a peep about this in the media.

"Jenkins said he recognized the gunman, whom police described as a black man in his mid-30s, as an employee who had only recently been recalled to work after he had been laid off for about five months."

The media only wants David Koresh/Timothy McVeigh types of bad guys. This is a politically incorrect bad guy. Anything he did is Bush's fault.

On channel 41 they're showing a family of a shooting victim but they've given this family no other information. This family is simply standing in the crowd, cops just standing around talking. This isn't being handled well at all.

You are so right. What a difference in the treatement of the Oklahoma City bombimg victims as opposed to rich New York victims.

i saw the cideo you were talking about, i figured it was just a matter of time till reporter goes up to lady and says

"your husband and the father of your kids has just been murdered at work, do you have any comment?"

Wait a minute. They laid him off, they re-hire him, and he goes on a SHOOTING SPREE?!

That's gratitude for ya.

If Bush wouldn't have wrecked the economy and forced this poor man out into the streets, he'd have not had a reason to make this nightmare happen after the killer gun talked him into it...... damn BUSH!

/dripping sarcasm (it hurts to type leftist thoughts *YEECH!*)

Now I have heartburn....

Because it's not a white loner with a history of psychological issues/spousal abuse/white power group affiliation. If this was a white guy who killed a bunch of black coworkers...

I wonder why the AWB didn't prevent this.

Hopefully none of the reporters will be that insensitive. It looks like they're beginning to take care of the families now.

At least it wasn't random, he shot the guys who picked on him - a warning to us all.

Still, I feel sorry for the families.

It happened in flyover country, and it's looking like a black on black crime. This won't make a blip on the national medias radar.

What I want to know is how do Diane Fienstein and her ilk pull this off. Everytime they introduce a gun ban bill, something like this happens. Fienstein just introduced a new assault weapon ban. Now this. Coincidence?

Now the story is that the shooter worked there for a month and a half and was laid off. just prior to the shooting the shooter went to a bar. they still havn't let the survivors out of the plant. many families are outside the plant grounds waiting for them to come out.
