FBI urges vigilance for July 4

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

>>>A neighboring agency has experienced two commercial burglaries at Wal-Mart where the suspects stole $6,500 in blood sugar test strips. (Assorted name brands) This was the second occurance during the past six-month period.
There were no witnesses and no video surveillance available as the system was being upgraded.<<<<

A. Sounds like an inside job.....someone was tipped that the surveillance system was being upgraded.

B. If they were Ketone testing strips, they are used quite commonly on the low-carb diets and can be quite expensive. Sounds like someone wants to sell them at "greatly reduced" prices. My drugstore keeps them behind the pharmacy counter because they are stolen quite frequently.

You are right on the mark about globalists. Thats the next totalitarian movement, just waiting in the wings.

They combine communist and nazi propaganda tactics, historical revision, class warfare, and scapegoating in the exact same ways that Communism/Nazism did.

Hitler learned a few tricks from Mussolini and Stalin in the Interwar period, when they were allies, so in effect, some communist tactics sprang from nazism and fascism, and vice versa. There was actually a trading process of lessons learned between Mussolini, Hitler, and Stalin.

Globalism springs from communism and nazism, and is the natural heir to them, both in lineage and idealism.

Right down to the jackbooted thugs (they wear sandals now) and enforcement of idealogical dogma by persecution. looks at how many "internationalists" and "globalists" tear into political opposites with zeal, and do everything to destroy them in any way possible.

The future doesnt look bright my friends. We still have other wars to fight after this one, it appears. It's only a matter of time before it turns malignant and it has to be stomped out like its predecessors.

/rant off

I am of course referring to atrocities committed against POW's and not the civilian populace. That is always worse in every war.

U.S. in Deal to Return Saudi Terror Suspects -NYT

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. officials reluctantly agreed to return five terrorism suspects to Saudi Arabia from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, last year as part of a deal involving Britain, The New York Times reported in Sunday editions.

Citing senior American and British officials, all who spoke on condition of anonymity, the Times reported the arrangement called for Saudi officials to release five Britons and two others convicted of guerrilla attacks in Saudi Arabia. British diplomats believed they were tortured by Saudi security officers into confessing falsely.

Officials involved in the plan told the Times the transfer of the Saudis from Guantanamo was initially resisted by the Pentagon, the CIA and the Justice Department.

HipShot, I do not think that would be a problem at all. Just a summary would not be against any rules, I would think.

You speak the truth, neighbor. They killed approximately as many christians as jews. They were no better than that which we face today, and for the same reason, ultimately.

The enemy wears many masks.

If I may use "ExSoldier" speak, the godless commies and muslims serve the same master. I bet he enjoys watching his servants kill each other, but not as much as killing us.

I started tracking POW's early in the war, after following the Northern Alliance and taliban POW issues in the 1990's.

Northern Alliance members would frag themselves to avoid capture and torture, and the Taliban would do the same.

Looks like this war is beginning to take the trends of Afghansitan in the 90's. One study area I loved in college was the rules of armed conflict. Its a natural interest area for me, I guess.

In recent history, the worst treatment of POW's the Americans have endured ( and there has been a lot) was by the Japanese, North Koreans, and Vietnamese.

Overall in our history, the Indian Wars had it's fair share, as well as the Civil War.

The trend America usually follows is to be nice until there is a proven trend, then to backlash against the enemy when they mnistreat prisoners. I wonder when the backlash will come, or if it will come?

"The future doesnt look bright my friends."

Indeed not. Tis one reason I'm so very happy that my little girl is getting married in just seven days almost to the hour. I want her to squeeze in as much love and life as possible in the time remaining. I don't think there's going to be another war the body of Christ will be present for after we face off with the Islamofascists. That alone is going to take quite awhile. JM, have you read the book "The Creature From Jekyll Island?" If not it is an immediate "MUST READ!" My take is that gloabalism is not in the natural lineage of the totalitarian horrors that preceded it, except that all are the offspring of the prince of evil. Globalism is that final grain of sand in that hourglass that represents the end of this age.

Ok.

There is a claim that an AQ type using the handle "Black Flag" was posting "Go" type messages on multiple AQ forums, starting this morning.

It was claimed that this same handle was used to post the same type of thing prior to other attacks.

Since TB2K is still down, I can't ask for permission to cross post, so I'm paraphrasing instead.

U.S. Said to Return Saudi Suspects in Secret Deal, NYT Reports

July 3 (Bloomberg) -- Five suspected terrorists were released from the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and returned to Saudi Arabia as part of a secret agreement last year, the New York Times reported, citing unidentified senior U.S. and U.K. officials.

In return, Saudi Arabia released five U.K. citizens and two others who had been convicted of terrorist strikes in Saudi Arabia, the newspaper reported on its Web site in a story to be published in tomorrow's edition. U.K. diplomats said the men had likely given false confessions after being tortured by Saudi security police officers, the newspaper reported.

Pentagon, Central Intelligence Agency and Justice Department officials at first objected to the transfer of the Saudi suspects, who they said were possibly too great of a threat to be released from U.S. custody, the Times reported, citing unidentified officials involved in the deliberations. The deal helped satisfy important allies as the U.S. invaded Iraq, the paper said.

``There is no recollection here of any linkage between these two actions,'' Sean McCormick, a spokesman for the National Security Council, told the Times. He denied that the Saudi detainees were transferred in exchange for the U.K. prisoners. He said the return of the Saudis was ``part of the normal policy of transferring detainees from Guantanamo for prosecution or continued detention.''

I have the same line of thought. I try to make each day special for my kids, so they will have come point of reference in the future. I'll definitely have to buy it. Sounds interesting.

I've always believed there is a point where the Islamofascists and the Globalists will merge with each other and mutually support each other in their goals. When that time comes, we will be in a battle for our very lives and existence.

You can already see the beginnings of it, in my opinon.

think the scope and effect this war will eventually eclipse WWI and WWII before we write the history books and tell our grandchildren about it. Its a slow starter with an extended "phony war" period, but that can only last for so long before the real shooting starts.

Some of us veterans have a good sense of the courses of conflict. We can see the hallmarks building.

I just finished a script on Korean War POW's that is true and documented and the story is part of my wife's family history, so we have the rights. In my research, I interviewed Korean vets, mostly at the VA Hospital when I went on my own appointments. I also read a chilling book called: Remembered Prisoners of a Forgotten War by Lewis H. Carlson. I hope it goes. The nibbles are getting more numerous. If anybody has the time, a prayer on that would be appreciated. It (the script) brings all the glory to God.

HipShot, I just read your last paragraph and I got a cold chill all the way up my spine. I may take a brief moment here, and "get in the Word."
