Look Out For this Democrat Vote Fraud Trick on Election Day - and Have a Cop Make an Arrest
7/02/04

Posted on 07/02/2004 8:33:04 AM PDT by jmstein7

As we all know, for Democrats, the law is a mere annoyance… something that needs to be circumvented to achieve the desired Democrat ends.  This is particularly true on election day.

“Walking Around Money”

I’m sure that many of you have seen this – Democrats and/or Democrat affiliated groups near polling places giving people “walking round money” to vote on Election Day.  This is an illegal practice.  Note the following federal law:

18 USCS § 597 (2004)

§ 597.  Expenditures to influence voting

Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and

Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote--

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

As you see, this is an illegal activity.  If you see this practice going on on Election Day, alert the authorities immediately – cops with probable cause to believe a person or persons is (are) violating this law have the authority to make an arrest on the spot.  Further, there will probably be vote fraud hotlines set up to report this kind of thing.

You can give cops the necessary probable cause to make an arrest by showing them a copy of the law or merely citing the statute (18 USCS 597), telling them that you personally observed the law being violated, and telling them, in detail, whom you saw violating the law.

The people offering the money and the people who receive/accept the money may both be arrested and charged.

Please tell anyone you know about this law, and please take action to be on the lookout for this on Election Day.  As we say in New York – “if you see something, SAY something!”

You're right about the absentees for the different propositions on the ballot, but those really aren't needed as quickly as the Presidential Ballot. The absentee propositions vote can be counted overnight to reach the papers in the morning.

Just didn't want all those absentee voters thinking their ballots weren't processed.

I believe most state laws read such that they can certify the election if the total outstanding ballots are less than the margin already obtained by the leader. In that case, the votes of the outstanding ballots would not have any impact. Of course they have to process them since there are many races/issues on the ballot.

In every precinct there has to be a way to get a wheelchair person to the balloting booth. I've done it many times. I'm a registered Republican so a registered Democrat has to be with me in such cases.

Ok.  I do have a wheelchair which is way to heavy for me to hoist up into my Exployer.  I can not lift it.  I am alone.  I lost my Viet Nam Vet hubby of 34 years last January.  I can not lift the chair.

I can walk of course, but not far.  I can't stand for longer then 5 minutes without acute pain setting in.

I am great when I sit or lie down.  That's why I spend so much time on my computer. hehe

When I go shopping, I hold on to the basket and get in and get out.  I used to hold on to my hubby to get inside the store to grab a basket.  But there are no baskets at the polls and I don't like to hold on to a stranger.

So there you have it. The reason I have been requesting absentee ballots and sending them in.

It is a very underreported story, but the DemocRATS have been all over nursing homes and mental health facilities securing patient votes.

Does the UN allow this practice?

I don't know about the UN, but I know this gets the green light from Jimmy Carter, as long as there's a (D) next to the vote.

You can do anything you want.

Just trying to tell you if the race is close, your absentee ballot vote will be counted last.

If you call your party affiliate, they will set you up with a precinct committeeperson to take you to and from the polls. That's what they do. That's why they are elected. In some states, the ballot will be brought to your car as long as there is a democrat and republican near you so no one can make you alter your vote.

Hope I've helped in some small way.

Just like making political speeches in churches; OK if it's for a D

Sure is. Look how easy it was to post a picture of a cow with Hillary Clinton's face on it, and declare that to be my wife.

She'd love to have a chat with SheLion.

You got it. Everything's OK if you are a D. It would make my life a heckuvalot easier if I were a Dem and posted at DU instead of FR.
