The lefties will have no problem with that IMO.
'Merle Haggard is a great American'.
Oh, he wrote some patriotic songs, back in the '60's - if you want to live in the past, fine. Fast forward to today: Haggard's newest song is less than patriotic and he enjoys hanging out with the likes of Don Imus, a rabid Kerry supporter (and increasingly unfunny radio personality).
Merle Haggard WAS a great American. Guess the alcohol finally addled his senses.
No pard'ner. It's just the beard.
You're forgetting the Soviet invasions of Finland (1939), Afghanistan (1979) and Poland (1939 & 1919).
Plus the invasions without resistance of the Baltic States (1940) and the forced cessation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina from Romania to the USSR (1940).
And a whole lot more people not on his side...you know, missing hands, ears, eyes, tongues, wifes, husbands, children....
Please don't fall prey to the media always looking for controversy by interviewing a few knuckleheads in Fallujah. Heck, with any luck the good guys will scoop these supporters up in the middle of the night and "ask them politely" about what they have been up to.
Saddam's been getting a free subscription to the NY Times?
You sound like cyncooper:
It would be best not to succumb to doom gloom media propaganda, but fight against it.
Don't worry! I won't!
I've heard that mentioned several times as his defense. Is that not the most ridiculous thing? "We don't believe you are legitimate, so we don't recognize your sentence." As if that would work!

Saddam's talking about MM's F/9/11, right?
