..."Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

"All our lives we fought against exalting the individual, against the elevation of the single person, and long ago we were over and done with the business of a hero, and here it comes up again: the glorification of one personality. This is not good at all." [Vladimir Lenin, as quoted in Not by Politics Alone]
Hey, wait a dang minute!!! Isn't Lenin the guy they keep in that tank of formaldahyde there on RED SQUARE? Talk about glorification of one personality, sheesh!
And as I posted on related thread:
"And just what will her highness be sacrificing for the 'common good'??? And whose common good? She nauseates me. She just can't yoke socialism/marxism (whatever she can get) on us fast enough. And so many sheeple seem willing to take on that yoke."
She won't sacrifice one bit of her priveleged life. She's ready to be our own Mrs. Ceaucescu or Madame Stalin or whatever. People seem all too willing to buy into her fearmongering and rush us all into the strangling embrace of socialism.
We all need to get the word out.
Well, just like the Clinton's, he didn't mean himself, just everyone else.
The Republican ads for the 2008 campaign are already being made.
"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
The media will try to ignore it...but we have to keep telling people the truth about what these people's true goal is.
Can you imagine the audacity? The unmitigated gall? The balls this POS has? The complete idiotic, stupidity that grips San Francisco? Ole clintoon jaunts in. Looks these demoncRATS in the face and tells them they have too much money and "we're going to take it away from you to spend the way we want", and they love her for it. Where's that earthquake? Please, where's that earthquake?
This ominous statement from the party that would have you believe they don't have an "extraordinarily ruthless machine".
The good news is that it may now make her unelectible.
I wonder if she remembers the 1988 election? LOL
Ahhh yes...I don't call her The Red Queen for nuthin'
Red
I pine for the old days when it was PC to shot Communists.
Can't wait for the spin on this one to start...she will claim her words were taken out of context...nothing to see here...move along.
It's not a repost. it's a reminder. this one should be posted daily. and on every forum you belong to !
Finally! In her own words and hopefully in video as well.
I predict these words will haunt her when the general public hears them for the first time in 2008.
So, let me see....Hillary is a socialist and most democrats are socialists.......err.......and THIS IS NEWS?
I'm starting to rethink this whole "Hillary is going to run for Pres in 2008" theory...after issuing a soundbyte like that....NAH.
Exactly, remember her husband said 'Americans have had it too good'? She is addressing an international community, here. Even our poor are wealthier than in some countries, so they'll pay, too eventually. If she can just cram some more illegals in, or find a way for foreigners to more directly influence our elections by the time she's ready to run...
GIVE it to me? Tax money is GIVEN to the government by the people, not the other way around.
'Tax cuts' does not mean that the government is giving people a gift. It means the government is TAKING less from the people.
We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Comrade Stalin couldn't have said it better himself. Hillary seems to be right on step with Uncle Joe's philosophy of class warfare.
Mankind is divided into rich and poor, into property owners and exploited; and to abstract oneself from this fundamental division ;and from the antagonism between poor and rich means abstracting oneself from fundamental facts.
Joseph Stalin
