A 23-year-old female teacher in Tampa, Fla., was arrested Monday for the second time on charges of having sex with a 14-year-old male student.

Debra Lafave, (pictured, left) was accompanied by her new attorney, John Fitzgibbons as she surrendered to Marion County deputies in Ocala.

Lafave, who is married, is a reading teacher at Greco Middle School in Temple Terrace, just northeast of Tampa.

The new charges accuse Lafave of pursuing the 14-year-old student to Ocala, Fla., while he was visiting his 15-year-old cousin.

Detectives said Lafave had sex with the student twice in Ocala - once in the back seat of her car while the cousin drove around town and then again in the car while parked at Brick City Park.

In police statements made by the 15-year-old witness, Lafave allegedly said that she was turned-on by the fact that what she was doing was illegal, WFTS-TV reported.

Lafave has been place on administrative leave.

I saw this on The Smoking Gun. She got caught because the parent of another student became suspicious of her behavior with this student and phoned his parents to tell them what she suspected. His parents confronted him and he admitted it. The police were called in. They had the boy call the student on a tapped phone. She made incriminating comments and was arrested.

The kid could not be reached for comment as he was too busy receiving high-fives while being hoisted on the shoulders of his friends.

Why do I bother to post something serious on this? First, she is damn good looking which, duh, reminds us looks are deceiving and something my 12 year old daughter knows well - the "popular" girls often have rocks in their heads and constantly get in trouble.

And the all too obvious comment on society - that an attractive young woman would do this with a kid is evidence of how sexually degenerate society has become - anything for a kick and the raunchier the better.

On a serious note, this strikingly pretty woman is obviously mentally disturbed. I'd be willing to bet a paycheck on her childhood being one of sexual abuse by an older individual; there had to have been a lot of dysfunctional characteristics...I really feel sorry for her husband, family. Instead of jail, she needs a good psychiatrist to discover her illness and straighten her life. However, ban her from the classroom forever!
