A 23-year-old female teacher in Tampa, Fla., was arrested Monday for the second time on charges of having sex with a 14-year-old male student.
Debra Lafave, (pictured, Below) was accompanied by her new attorney, John Fitzgibbons as she surrendered to Marion County deputies in Ocala.
Lafave, who is married, is a reading teacher at Greco Middle School in Temple Terrace, just northeast of Tampa.
The new charges accuse Lafave of pursuing the 14-year-old student to Ocala, Fla., while he was visiting his 15-year-old cousin.
Detectives said Lafave had sex with the student twice in Ocala - once in the back seat of her car while the cousin drove around town and then again in the car while parked at Brick City Park.
In police statements made by the 15-year-old witness, Lafave allegedly said that she was turned-on by the fact that what she was doing was illegal, WFTS-TV reported.
Lafave has been place on administrative leave.

I understand your point. In a way, this reminds me of the Clara Harris threads (the woman that kept running over her husband in a parking lot until he died). Most of the women laughed but the men were outraged.
I had the world's biggest crush on a girl all the way from the first to eighth grades, and I haven't run into her snce but I'll bet she looked just like that when she was 23.
You are truly sick if you think there is nothing wrong with a teacher having sex with her students. You are also messed up by thinking it is okay for people to commit adultery and ruin families and lives. What has gotten into you and some of the individuals on this thread? Do you have no more respect for yourselves than fantasize about whores?
Lust is not healthy and can cause long term damage in ever having a meaningful, long-term relationship with a real woman. You only get one chance to live this life. Some people are wasting it, big time. This'll go in one ear and out the other for many, but it must be said.
But as much as I've joked on this thread, can anyone here truly condone adultery with an underaged student because she was sexually excited by the illegality of the act?

I can't say that I disagree, and your points are all solid and correct. And I freely admit that I'm contradicting my own strongly-held beliefs that rape and child abuse are reprehensible in this case. But geez louise, my fondest wish when I was 14 years old was to be "harmed" the same way that kid was by that teacher ...

No kidding! Lives have been destroyed. And there are people on here finding this to be amusing and some "dr." talking about how it's okay for it to have happened, and his wife agrees. It's fine for teachers to have sex with their students. I guess they've got one of those 'open' marriages and he would give his blessing for his wife to go out and have sex with kids. Truly warped.

Has it occurred to any Illinoisans that a person who was at one of these clubs and saw Jack browbeating his wife to do the nasty could have sold their story to a tabloid for about ten grand or so as far back as February? No takers so far. Hmmmm...
I wasn't in those threads, but I wouldn't have been expressing outrage. That guy did everything but put his head under her tires, I don't think he could have asked for it any more plainly.

Well said. Had this article been titled "Woman cheats on husband with 14 year old boy" the reaction might have been different. I would think that the married men on here who think that this is no big deal would be upset if their wives had an affair with a 14 year old boy.
