It's not about tolerance. It's about recruitment.
Tammy Bruce - she of Lesbians who voted for Reagan fame - spends roughly half of 'The Death of Right and Wrong' denouncing GLSEN. A really disturbing read.

Church school, home schooling or private school is the only way to educate our children.
Why? Because the public school system in America is a 'Federally mandated..., tax payer funded..., union controlled... jobs program' with education as a 'by-product'. I suppose it is a great place to work if you are a teacher or janitor. Great pay, great benefits, great retirement but education of children is NOT the number one goal.

And in 2003, it rolled out a high-school curriculum to present the same-sex "marriage" debate. Just looking at the curriculum objectives shows the bias and coercive strategies of this group (GLSEN)

Imagine finding out that your kindergartner's teacher read the story Heather Has Two Mommies or Daddy's New Roommate before nap time. Having two daddies or two mommies is just the same as having one of each, she explains.
Indeed. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The Queering of Elementary Education has been a major part of the homosexual community's well planned and well financed propaganda campaign.

Children ought never be exposed to this garbage, and certainly not in school. Be afraid for your children America, Wake Up!
"Early Christians, too, considered homosexuality a conventional expression of physical desire and were no more susceptible to anti-homosexual prejudices than pagans were. Some prominent Christians experienced loving same-gender relationships that probably had a sexual element."Some prominent Christians living a life clearly condemned in the Bible? Yeah, right. Revisionist indeed.
GLSEN and groups like it use the legitimate goal of stopping bullying in our schools to advance their real agenda of promoting the homosexual lifestyle.
The "bullying in the schools" issue is a ruse used by GLSEN to gain access to the schools. Bogus statistics were used (and are still being used) by queer activists to get government officals to cough up taxpayer money for so-called "safe schools" programs. Documented here:

Homosexual Agenda Ping - READ THIS ONE! It's got all the links, excerpts, bells and whistles - EdReform is on it! All parents, grandparents, uncles, aunties, teachers, people planning to be any of the above, should all read this. Anyone who isn't quite sure if "gay" marriage is ok or not should read this.
The author is not exaggerating; this is not hyperbole. It is the future - and the present. The future is unimaginable unless "gay" marriage is stopped, and the "gay" agenda is ROLLED BACK and put back in the closet.
The problem is that the "gay" radicals (and as I have stated before and you are probably tired of hearing over and over - if the radicals are not representative of most homosexuals, where are the cries of outrage protesting the radicals?) do not want tolerance, respect, or diversity. Nor are they interested in being tidy little monogamous replicas of normal husbands and wives.
Their stated goal is to destroy the moral foundation of society.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.
Most parents aren't that concerned. All they care about is that their children have somewhere to go 7 hours a day. They just hope their kids don't get stabbed, shot, sexually assaulted, clunked over the head for lunch money, or that dumbass zero-tolerance rules enforced by dumbass school officials don't ruin their lives forever if they say, draw a gun on a piece of paper and wind up in the juvenile justice system. That's enough for most parents to deal with. Don't expect them to worry if their kids learn to read and write (nice if they learn, but not necessary -- many kids who are illiterate can find a college that will accept them) or if they're exposed to the homosexual agenda. They just hope that their kids' hormones kick in and that they are normal enough to reject the indoctrination that hopefully goes in one ear and out the other.
The parents that have concerns about the homosexual agenda and academic standards have already removed their children.
In case you all don't remember, Mark Earley, the author, was the Virginia GOP candidate for Governor in 2001. He lost in a close race to the multimillionaire Mark Warner, who outspent Earley by millions of his own money.
A number of people on this board supported Warner, who just achieved the largest tax hike in the history of Virginia [$1.4 billion], because they thought Earley was a "liberal."
Warner vetoed the same sex marriage prohibition the legislature passed this session, but he was overridden.
I tried the link. It didn't work. I tried using words from the title in a search at the site. That didn't work, either.
Ah. Here it is.

"Students should understand both the historical parallels to marriage prohibitions against same-sex couples as well as the similarities among racism, homophobia, and all other oppressions."
This stuff isn't coming, it's already here. All you can do is get your kids out, as quickly as possible.
Bump.
