I've said it before. The War on Terror will be won or lost this november at the American ballot box.

Oh and "How far have we fallen since World War II"? isn't really appropriate.

Then, as now, the far left opposed the war. When the Germans betrayed their Soviet allies though, that all changed over night.

If Kerry were to be elected, and liberals were to succeed in demoralizing conservatives on issues beyond the War on Terror to include abortion, church, gay-marriage, etc., I think that conservatives would stop enlisting in the military altogether. There would be nothing for them to defend, lest of all once their cherished institutions have been rendered mote. Of course, it would be commical to see liberals whinning about one to fight for them in police actions or to keep civil order... but then our Country would be finished....
