I shudder to think how much whining we would have to endure, if we have a President Kerry, during a terrorist attack.

Kerry couldn't wait. It was back into his 757 and back to the Left Coast for some campaigning.

Effin' Kerry missed the vote on a veterans bill? What's WRONG with this Massachusetts left-wanger? He must have more important things to do...

He certainly is worried about the price of gasoline, and "supporting terrorists," jetting all over the country.

If history is prologue, then it is highly unlikely that even if John Kerry WERE elected to the Presidency, he would be much in residence at the White House. Hard to imagine a Cabinet meeting, as he wouldn't be there to call one, let alone act as chair.

Who would be running the country?

**This week they are considering legislation that would call for a special Senatorial election within 120 to 145 days after Kerry’s Senate resignation.**

If it passes I bet Romney will veto it.

Rove is not saying much about Kerry's absenteeism yet. Wait until September - October, and the Bush ads will be all over him for his [lack of] voting record. This is one of those things that the public really cares about and understands. Whether or not the man is earning his pay. It should be devastating.

This story just cracks me up. Prince kerry is ticked that Congress would not adjust to his time schedule. Perhaps he believes that he is the camelot heir to royalty.

(2) Because the Senate was having its class of 2004 picture taken on that very day.

He can't turn down a photo-op, can he?

Hillary. Or Teresa. Take your pick.

I think he's not voting precisely because he's not thrilled
about the possibility of his leftist leanings and past voting
record being used against him in the campaign.

no votes, no controversial voting record. the people of the
state of Massachusetts are screwed, but "don't they know who
he is"?

That's a great campaign ad idea. A shot of an empty Senate seat while the narrator lists all the major votes Kerry hasn't voted on while he's been campaigning.

Just an empty Senate seat.

Just an empty Senate seat.

With a voice-over of Querry's rants.

What the Republicans did to Kerry was child's play compared to the Senate Democrats "vetoing" of President Bush's judicial nominations.
