As a sociopath, he just can't help it. Of course, having his brain screwed up from cocaine doesn't help either.
"Fifty-four years ago this week, I was born in a summer storm to a young widow in a small Southern town," he said. "America gave me the chance to live my dreams. I have tried to give you a better chance to live yours. Now, with hair grayer and wrinkles deeper, but with the same optimism and hope I brought to the work I love eight years ago, my heart is filled with gratitude."
And now from his MY BOOK OF LIES:
"Early on the morning of August 19, 1946, I was born under a clear sky after a violent summer storm to a widowed mother in the Julia Chester Hospital in Hope, a town of about six thousand in southwest Arkansas, thirty-three miles east of the Texas border at Texarkana."

Some will say it is not a big deal. Perhaps it is not.
But can't the reader reasonably expect that even a self-aggrandizing, sociopathic author would at least wait a few pages for the first lie? Not the impeached and disgraced rapist William Jefferson Blythe Clinton --- HE DOES IT IN THE FIRST SENTENCE!
Just think...if he had been born just 34 to the west, he would never have gotten started in public office. Texas wouldn't elect that sob as a dog catcher.
Perhaps I'll have to do my FReeper duty and stop by a Barnes and Noble and peruse through the index at the end.
"I was born a poor, black child in Mississippi...."
I was trying to find meteorological records for Hope Arkansas for that day. Alas the search was unsucessful. I'd have to go to the local weather station and check their records, if they still had them.
Interesting that I thinking Slick was lying on the first sentence that I wen to check...LOL
...way out in the middle of the ocean?
He can't resist prettying up the picture when just the facts will do. As if the facts are not good enough to herald the circumstances surrounding his own birth. Its clear Bill Clinton has an insecurity problem involving his own childhood.
"Depends on your defintion of 'storm' muh friends...< guilty as sin grin >" < /Clinton impression >
Yes, how dare he use the first person posessive prononun!
My Little Pony
My Friend Flicka
My Country 'Tis of Thee...
All those clearly smack of Nazism, right?
OMG, look at these "reviews" on amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0375414576/qid=1088195066/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/103-5420761-3776630
Sickening headers:
A Man of Truth, Dignity and Honor
The greatest book ever writen in all of mankind!
Now, some I think are tongue-in-cheek smart-aleck reviews. (Unfortunately, those idiots are pushing up the rating of the book.)
Stats:
Yesterday (1st day out) the Clintoon book had SIXTY reviews!
Today - 1-HUNDRED FIFTY reviews!
*Wow, fast readers!*
Bunch of liars. Just like Clintoon.
Yeah, that's a stretch. Just cuz it's foreign to you and "all sounds the same" doesn't make it so.
That's "My Life" vs "My Struggle". "Leben" is also very different from "Kampff".
Which latter, BTW, I'm surprised Bill didn't use. After all, didn't he strive so hard against those waskalwy Repubs, and *struggle* so hard against his own demons - when they were on trial in public?
"... and suddenly, in Fort Marcy Park, a shot rang out." "...then a thong snapped."
"... causing an airplane crash in the vicinity of the Dubrovnik airport."
"...and the reverberations were felt in the dining room of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where a young fat girl confided to an older woman"
"Outside, a ferocious, feared judge passed by on his evening jog while singing religious hymns to himself."
"Meanwhile, a power mad woman gasps for breath when being told for the millionth time about her spouse's infidelity, and screams "That's IT" but is calmed down by the party leaders who offer her a Senatorial seat if she stays calm."
Wow. Really? I have only lived in Germany 4 years---we could have never figured that out without you.
What other wisdom do you have that you are willing to share?
"You know, I was born a po' black chile..."
Ya beat me.
Threat of a government shut-down and the renege of the "Read my lips" no new taxes pledge split the Republican vote. That's how.
OK, if you're going to be that way: I don't care how well you know the language or not.
The point is they are totally different words in either language (or even between); and, being only a 2-word title using an article for 1 word - it just isn't something that makes 1 think how closely it resembles Hitler's writing.
That was our point.
