"I have tried to give you a better chance to live yours."

The scariest line is from that speech he gave.

that would be funny if the almanac read "unusually mild summer day"

So it's actually TWO lies in the very first sentence...hmmm, could have something here, I wonder if the Guiness records people have a catagory for "most disregarded words"

Actually, I have a friend from Arkansas who swears that Clinton could be her half brother. She has a brother (currently in prison) who is the spitting image, in looks, speech, vocal quality, and mannerisms, of BJ. Her dad was traveling a lot and cheated a lot, all during this time period.

Since this was a truly abusive family, every time she sees BJ she flinches.

"... and suddenly, in Fort Marcy Park, a shot rang out." "...then a thong snapped"

"... causing an airplane crash in the vicinity of the Dubrovnik airport."

"...and the reverberations were felt in the dining room of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where a young fat girl confided to an older woman"

"Outside, a ferocious, feared judge passed by on his evening jog while singing religious hymns to himself."

"Meanwhile, a power mad woman gasps for breath when being told for the millionth time about her spouse's infidelity, and screams "That's IT" but is calmed down by the party leaders who offer her a Senatorial seat if she stays calm.

"Suddenly, his concentration was snapped by two cats ferociously copulating in a nearby bush.."

that leads me to think ---has there ever been a woman in high federal elected office that had a big wide ass? I'm sure there have been many locally (Jack Goldberg from W. Hollywood comes to mind) but I can't think of any women on a fed level that weren't at least of moderate build. Hillary's got those "jiggly" thighs and since 9/11 the American people have simply suffered enough already.

None comes to mind - but Slick's cabinet had a weird bunch that was supposed to 'look like America'.

Reno and not so bright are a couple. When they all were onstage together - it reminded me of an alien landing.

If the wide-load gets her wish - we know what kind of cabinet to expect.

what the liberals call "deconstruction", scholarly examination of his published text

Actually, an academic dissertation utilizing deconstuction as a primary method would not focus on actual events. Rather, the emphasis would be on the underlying social/cultural foundation and cause/effect relationship. In addition, a good analysis would view the foundation not only as specific period of time, say 1992-2000, but as part of continum to provide a basis for exploring ongoing casual factors.

In other words, the real point would be to address how/why the US was so f**ked up as to elect such a sociopath.

By FAR the best start for a review:

So Bill Clinton has written a 957-page book about his life. It appears to be the literary equivalent of the movie "Airplane!" in which the main character, Ted Striker, kept trying to bore captive passengers with his life story, as they all killed themselves rather than listen to him drone on and on and on.

An interesting comment / insight from a gal last night:

The "sleeping on the couch" story has gained widespread disdain as obviously fabricated to some degree or another. Apparently this same page contains some of Clinton's other elaborations on how he was then focused on nailing AlQaeda.

The insight was that Clinton makes up these things as something he believes the media will grab onto, yet aren't too embarassing for him or Hillary, and allows him to then embed his "defenses" or rewriting of history (ie lax on terrorism) in a place where people - who are not likely to read all if much or any of the entire book - will go to read and then inadvertently find or come across the defenses & history rewrite that the Clintons wished to assure would be "found" by the readers.

I expected nothing less.

I'm sure as time marches on and people get the opportunity to pick this "marvelous work" apart, the lies he has been spinning all of his life will be exposed on nearly every page.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, eh Bill?

Maybe someone needs to check the meteorology records for that date in that area and find out if there even was a storm that day.
