Fom what I remember he formally was in that Army Reserve unit, so he was "qualified" to drive a tank. Well at least he wouldn't get in trouble for not being a "qualified" driver

You should find the thread where a bunch of guys were holed up in a cabin for a vacation weekend. One of the guys decided to do a hair treatment. The ending results had many of us literally on the floor with laughter. We had a live play by play of the event. The one on the internet was asking for advice from us ladies on how to reverse the treatment.

None of them can ever top the tank rampage The tank rampage gets rebroadcast every so often on those 'America's most spectacular police chases' kind of TV shows.
It was truly an amazing thing to watch, and really gives a sense of just what a tank can do to people who've never worked around them. He took off the side of a motor home, flattened a parked pickup truck, knocked over a light pole and sheared off a fire hydrant without ever slowing down. He rammed a freeway overpass a couple of times, trying to bring it down.
Eventually he tried to drive over a concrete freeway median divider and bottomed out. The cops boarded the tank, ordered him out. He refused, and they shot down into the commander's hatch, killing him.
