I like when they lose a tire and keep going...
Yes, that's the best one. Especially at night.
They mostly come at night.
Mostly.

With yesterday morning car chase, they did the human pyramid at the finish. They didn't make the perp wear panties on his head did they?

Hey Shermy - sure you're nick-name isn't "Sparky?""Sparky" handle was taken before I stopped lurking at FR.
But yes, you know me well. I like sparky stories. Here's one of my favorites:

Some Army Reserve unit in the San Diego area had a few lying around. Fom what I remember he formally was in that Army Reserve unit, so he was "qualified" to drive a tank.

Of course, when these stupid bastards crash and kill themselves, it will be the police's fault. There's a bill right now before the California state Assembly that would make that literally true. For some strange reason, most of its supporters have a (D) after their names.

Yeah, wasn't he is the one who drove through the chain link fence and dragged it around for awhile, showering sparks everywhere?? Cool!!

It's not bad enough that Fox News has to insult us with wall to wall celebrity trials. An even worse insult is that they consider car chases news worthy enough to broadcast them live Don't blame Rupert.
He makes his money by following the old adage that you can't underestimate the intelligence of an American audience.

Think of it this way, it bumps Algore "speech to the nation" off the news.

only Fox News channel broadcasted it. I know it said KCBS/KCAL on the screen, but they were only providing the feed.
this guy won't get kicked from county....you have to do a violent felony to even stay the night now.....a pursuit is one day in jail!

I always watch these LA slow speed chases, I don't know what that says about me, or want to know.
Note to the LAPD, recruit the heavyset lady ASAP for your SWAT team. She was kicking butt and taking names. I was impressed!
