I was invited to a special setup on a nearby mountain for field day this year. It sounded like fun. Then I found out I have to travel to Knoxville, TN this weekend. I've been licensed since 1976 and never managed to participate in field day.
I sent that message out to the entire Civil Defense Force.
Now I feel left out. Now I want a license :)
Well, one of these years you will, I'm sure.
It is fun.
My family members are licensed.
I provide the food and beverages.
