Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Your Word stands in absolute truth:

"For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish." Psalm 1:6

We take heart, O Lord, that our President travels the path of righteousness ... that he has commanded our beloved defenders in liberation and freedom, and that he stands resolute in mission. For this cause, he is reviled, for darkness cannot live when exposed to the light. Protect him as he steps on foreign soil, for many there are who would destroy him. We under gird him in prayer and petition, for great is his resolve to boldly face such opposition. Keep all manner of harm from him, O God, and return him safely. Work in the hearts of those he meets, that they might recognize his love of liberty for all people. Draw others to the side of freedom, that they, too, might advance the cause of liberty and justice.

We see, O God, that the enemy is stirred to increasing fury, for his time is short. May the wicked be set aside as the Iraqi people begin their national life. Bring forth those who cause death and destruction, that they be rendered harmless ... protect those who are in search of the enemy ... grant them success. May the citizenry flourish in the sunshine of freedom and liberty ... prosper them beyond measure as this new way of life takes hold. Bring forth the name of the Lord God Almighty to a people hungry to know the Truth. May eternal blessing be upon these days, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
