Iran seeks swap of Brits for suicide attackers

Report says 40 Revolutionary Guard 'volunteers' held by UK

Iran apprehended British military personnel and Navy vessels earlier this week in order to secure release of 40 "suicide operations volunteers" held by the UK, according to an Iranian Revolutionary Guard source.

The source told the London Arabic-language daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that the British Army command in Iraq received the demand from the Revolutionary Guard, reported the Middle East Media Research Institute.

According to the source, the content of the message was very simple: "Release our comrades, whom you are holding, and we will release your soldiers."

A nuclear bomb is much more powerful when set off at a height of say 500 feet compared to when it is placed on the ground.

What's most disappointing to me is that they seem to know more about our history and foundation than most americans do. There are examples of how well educated they are sprinkled through a variety of their statements.

I'm not sure that they are attacking events, but places.

We did have that one report about the disappearing lake, but the news accounts I read said it didn't even made a sucking sound before it left. Just here one day and gone the next. Not one word of any whirlpool action!

The AQ, for lack of a better word, leadership is highly educated and so are the Islmaic clerics. It's the jihadi warriors that only know what they have been told. I also wonder about their IQ's. Some of highjackers were educated but I don't think they were intelligent. Mysterious Box Drops in DE

(Middletown-AP) June 30, 2004 — New Castle County Police are searching for the source of a mysterious package that was found attached to a parachute in a yard in Middletown. The Styrofoam box was spotted Monday night by residents of a house on Ethel Court. They told authorities is was making a "motoring sound. "

After the box was determined safe, police found weather measuring equipment inside.

Several Airports were contacted, but none could provide any information on the device.

One thing that has slowed down some are the reports on explosives, etc., found in fields, backyards, etc. I still think that was very odd.
