"Actually I do like some of the earlier rap groups like Xavier, Sugarhill Gang, and Run DMC."
Never could stand Rap. I did like punk though, a long time ago, and am rather partial to what some folks refer to as "headbanger." Some of the newer music wails, like The White Stripes.

I passed this on, and I do think if it were true we'd have some confirmation of it by now!! Who said this on Fox?

He probably moved to DC because he ain't welcome in North Carolina anymore, and because he's pursuing a lucrative career with some high-profile Beltway clients.

Yes, it is appropriate to change ones mind on things from time to time when evidence and facts bear out your previous position as wrong.
The problem with John Kerry's flip-flopping is that it has been on EVERYTHING. And his position on a whole host of issues is dependant upon who he is speaking too. Recently he spoke to an arab/palestinian group and gave a speech in opposition to Israel's "security fence." But then days later, while speaking to a jewish group he came out in whole hearted support of the security fence, going as far as to say it was essential to Israels future.
The list of such examples is virtually endless.

Pardon the off topic post, but I'm cooking your Pot Stickers tonight. My family loves them and requests I prepare them all the time. Great recipe.

I make them all the time and am requested by family and friends to make them for any and all get togethers where each person is to bring food. I had to make 200 of them for my cousins bridal shower. Talk about a pain in the ass!
If you have access to venison, try going with 2/3rds venison and 1/3 pork. Outstanding!

Yeah, it's hard to believe McCain doesn't hold a grudge against Kerry. I'll bet he was tormented plenty because of Hanoi John and Jane. I'ts probably healthy that McCain let the bad feelings go, but also understandable if he wants to stick it to him and see Kerry squirm.

I don't believe this. McCain has said he backs Pres. Bush. Why would Kerry ask him, after that? Who needs a running mate who just endorsed the other team?
Furthermore, if Kerry would even consider someone who's a Republican, he can just as well consider someone like Lieberman---pro-war---yet a "good" Democrat. Lieberman would be the sentimental favorite, being half the losing team in 2000. He's been through the process, he's been tested. (Pre-loved, as they say in the second-hand stores.) Kerry could pitch the choice to the Jewish voters and the moderates. Lieberman can't make Kerry look old, tired and ugly the way John Edwards can. Lieberman is a proven team player who'll switch positions to accommodate the upper half of the ticket (as he did for Gore).
All the talk of McCain being picked, only softens up the Dems for the choice of the relatively hawkish Lieberman.

Well our relatives and friends and neighbors in both our states who hate Pres. Bush also despise Kerry...That's Arizona and Washington state. And several do plan to vote for Kerry! Or not at all. He is a most definitely NOT a popular candidate!

This must be the same way Effin proposed to TER-A-ZA:
Please, please reconsider marrying me! My current wife only has three hundred million. How am I supposed to get by on that?
Did I mention your kind-of cheeky?
And I think it's great you want to be a dog...they're so friendly, you know...

Probably referencing that ONE recent Harris Poll shocker of "W" up 51-41 among likely voters. Probably right.
It seemed the methodology of this poll was unique in that it did not claim to weight its sample by a particular ratio of Republican, Independents, and Democrats (at least in my reading of their brief methodology statement).
To: Graymatter
I don't believe this. Take it up with Fox News. I only repeated what their television screen reported.
