t's a good thing Air America is such a flop or it would cause serious problems for the Democratic Party. Randi Rhodes, for example, has been urging those called up for Iraq to refuse to go -- to desert, in other words -- which, if I understand his nuances, isn't exactly on message with John Kerry......

They also worship those few US service members who have either deserted, failed to report or have come out publicly to condemn the war in Iraq. They have the strange idea that the vast majority of US service persons are on the verge of revolt, mutiny and coup, just waiting for the chance to take over Washington and run Dubya out of town. Yes they actually believe that.

Randi Rhodes is a victim of cognitive dissonance. Apparently she believes that adoption by gay couples will automatically make the child in question more compassionate and we conservatives "can't have that."
All right, Miss Rhodes, if that is an optimal way of raising children, we'll take whatever kids you decide to have and give them to gay parents. After all, as you say, they'll be raised better.
(Point being, she didn't think about that consequence of her theorem)
