Latest Atrocity Proves This War Is Religious
The Sydney Morning Herald ^ | June 21, 2004 | Paul Sheehan

Posted on 06/22/2004 8:32:12 PM PDT by quidnunc

Paul Johnson jnr was butchered for you. Pictures of his decapitated body, with his severed head on his chest, were posted on the internet in the early hours of Saturday (Sydney time) for your benefit. So was the message that "the infidel got his fair treatment".

You were the target. The symbolism was carefully considered. The 49-year-old American civilian, kidnapped in Saudi Arabia, was dressed in an orange jumpsuit similar to those worn by prisoners of the US military in Guantanamo Bay. The method of execution was also considered for maximum impact.

The images were quickly placed on the internet to leverage the enormous power of the mass media, to instil fear, to intimidate enemies, to enlist recruits for the global conflict now underway. In this conflict, violence flows through the old barriers created by borders, armies, codes of honour.

For such murderers, respect for international law is a weakness to be exploited. Who needs armies or military victories when murder and the mass media can cast so long a shadow?

We are not in a "war against terror". That is US Government spin. Stripped down to its basics, beneath all the rhetoric, we are witnessing a religious war, the one foreshadowed by professors Philip Jenkins and Samuel Huntington.

We also have the benefit of a recent dispatch from the incomparable Robert Kaplan of The Atlantic Monthly, author of many books but most notably The Coming Anarchy, published five years ago.

Kaplan went with the US Marines when they launched an assault on the Iraqi city of Fallujah on April 5 (five days after four American civilians were dismembered by a mob in the city). He attended the final briefings on the eve of battle, when issues were compressed to their fundamentals:

"Gents, let me tell you what this is really about," said Lieutenant-Colonel Brennan Byrne. "It's about killing shitheads. The CG [Commanding General] has changed the Op Order from 'capture or kill' the enemy to 'kill or capture'. He wants the emphasis on 'kill'.

"You'll be facing interesting folk. Guys who fought in Grozny, in Afghanistan, guys who aren't all that interested in giving up. I made everyone grow moustaches for the sake of cultural sensitivity when we left Kuwait. Now I want you to shave them off. We're going on the offensive."

Kaplan continued: "Byrne stood up, signalling the end of the briefing. Everyone else stood up and shouted, 'Ooh-rah!'."

Seems to me the Islamofascists are heavily into human sacrifice.

As heavy handed as most Moslem authorities are, they obviously haven't been as vigorous as they should have been wiping out the old time Saturn/Ba'al worship so endemic in the Middle East off and on through the centuries.

The Islamists would kill me as quickly as they would kill a Christian. They don't care what religion someone is, it's if you follow their own radical version of Islam.

Latest Atrocity Proves This War Is Religious

It's always been "religious" The terrorists (Muslims) target Christians and Jews. How can it NOT be considered religious?

That is not entirely clear.

When the Islamists went on a killing spree in Saudi Arabia recently, for example, they questioned those they captured about their religion. All muslims, save those working for the Saudi government, were set free. Everyone else was killed.

-These Iranian students are all Muslims.

Torture Methods used in the Islamic Regime on Iran's Students.

Following arrest; students or decedents are severely beaten. If female they are raped or scared them of such crime.

The students are kept awake for several days by physical beatings, pouring hot water into their ear, standing them on the edge of tall buildings, exposing them to 10 hours of very loud excruciating noise which collapses them into a nervous breakdown, constant verbal abuse, denying them drinking water and giving them inedible food, and preventing them from going to the toilet.

Many of the imprisoned students have developed nervous problems and many are suffering from physical ailments.

Constant cries of the detained students can be heard in the corridors of the Evin prison which adds to the overall awe of this Islamic dungeon.

According to the latest reports, the majority of the interrogations are carried out by a notorious interrogator known as Bakhshi, who works under the direct orders of the Judge Saeed Mortazavi.

Amongst other names that are mentioned is torturer known by the name Nakheii.

Students are forced to undergo this treatment in order to break down their spirits and confess anything the interrogators ask them to.

As usual much of what they have to confess is involvement in sexual deviances.

Here's a link to an article you may find interesting Cyrus. It's called "Ethnic cleansing and dictatorship vs. pluralism and democracy: A Critique of ethnic policies of Pahlavi and Islamic fundamentalist regimes." Kind of proves your point from a historical perspective about being the right type Muslim.

Oh, I have no doubt the Iranian government tortures those it sees as a threat, which includes those merely demanding basic human rights.

However, Sunni Islamists, those mentioned in this article, are specifically on a holy war against Christians, Jews, and Hindus. It is interesting that they even have been willing to work on some levels with the Shiites running Iran.

Gotta love the Marines. Tougher than Navy SEALS, IMHO, and I've known both. Light years beyond any arabic towelhead over there.

The WHOLE article was already posted HERE.

The WHOLE article is worth a read, unlike the UNNECESSARY excerpting by ol' quid here.... and some of the comments on the PREVIOUS, FULL posting .... are worth reading as well.

Only a decadent, cowardly and effeminate society can be intimidated by such tactics.

Unfortunately, depending on the election year, a little more or a little less of 50% of U.S. voters fits into that category and 100% of the American Liberal news media fits into that category.

As a comparison, let us look at how men of sterner stuff performed at the Siege of Malta.

During that siege, a vastly larger Muslim expedition attacked the home base of the Knights of Malta. One of the forward castles was captured by the Muslims and, in order to "to instill fear and to intimidate his enemies", the Muslim commander had the bodies of dead Knights nailed to crosses and had them float with the tide to the main fortress of the Knights of Malta.

The response of the Grandmaster of the Knights of Malta was to behead Muslim prisoners, load the heads into cannons and fire the heads back toward the Muslim enemy.

In the end, a Spanish relief expedition arrived at Malta in order to save the Knights.

However, the relief expedition had arrived too late ..............

................... The Muslims invaders had had enough already and were boarding their ships in defeat at the opposite end of the island. .
