I misspoke, I meant the Iraqi terrorists not the Iranian terrorists...but then they are the same crowd and they will all have to be "dealt with" sooner hopefully rather than later...

I'm praying for his family and his soul.

I suspect he already met his Maker, since the vermin knows no mercy.

May God spread His wings over the other brave men working in civilian and military jobs in Iraq.

Some observations:

Once captured you are a dead man, anyway. All experts agree that the abductors know that their demands won't be met. They use it as a publicity ploy. It works rather well, unfortunately.

This is all the Al-Q has right now. A few abductions and some publicity stunts that cost one human life each. It will wear out its welcome soon, but for now, it's all they have. It's not 3,000 people, but it is having a long-term psychological effect on us if they can keep it going. It's cheaper than a 9/11 but it's doing its work.

Let's hope they've miscalculated the attention span of the average American, cuz we're all waiting for the new season of the Sopranos and Deadwood. Face it, we like variety in our terror. I give them a half-dozen more before we're bored with it.

Prayers, nonetheless, for the unfortunate Korean. Perhaps his life won't have been in vain if South Korea takes it personally and wakes up.

Lord, watch over Kim Sung Il and keep him safe from harm. Strike down with furious vengance the ghouls that threaten his safety.

You know, the salamikazes are working very hard to earn that "vermin" label. I don't think it's intentional -- I think they really believe they're going to scare our side into doing as they ask.

They're not going to like it when they cement the "vermin" image into the minds of those who are as yet unwilling to see the salamikazes in that way. They're not gonna like it at all.

Mike Emmanual on FoxNews: Polls in S Korea show the terrorists are getting what they want. SK people oppose sending more troops to Iraq.

Sounds like SK might go the way of Spain.

The "keyword" cracks about "having a head" are disgusting and cruel. When we start making jokes about the vermin sawing a living human being's head off, we are going to slide into apathy as a society about such vicious and evil behavior.

I actually agree with Michael Savage on this one: we are already pathetically subdued in our response to seeing Americans beheaded. Bombs should be exploding and vermin should be dead in their streets for this.

I don’t understand (but then again, I’m not a radical Muslim terrorist) what they expect to accomplish with these acts. I know that hostage taking is part of their culture - but do they really expect any country to give in to their wishes? It has to be a case of wanting to terrorize foreigners into leaving the country so the Saudi’s will become just another primitive backwater country like the rest of them - Good Muslims living in the 7th Century.

There is a reason the Crusades happened.

It is high time Americans and the rest of the world understand this.

The word people on this thread are searching for is :

BARBARIANS

Our "thin veneer of civilization" will disappear if these barbarians are allowed to dictate on the world stage. For us to keep that from happening, we must steel ourselves to accept that we must be ready and willing if necessary to do what they did in The Crusades: "Kill them all and let God sort them out" with great apologies to those relatively powerless non-terrorists who live in their midst.

FReegards.

He was dead the moment he got caught. The terrorists know there will be no response to their demands, they just want to make them as a formality before killing their hostage for propaganda purposes. They have to keep up the morale of the faithful and try to scare the weak-kneed among the allies.

How can the NY Times be more outraged by 18 kids putting panties on Iraqi criminals heads than with the beheadings going on by these murderous terrorist thugs?? Can anyone answer that?
