The Marxists return
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review ^ | Sunday, June 20, 2004 | Dateline DC

As we mourned the death of President Ronald Reagan and celebrated his triumphs, those who had been his life-long enemies -- the communists, the radical left and their money men -- emerged to scheme and plan.

We were reminded by the former prime ministers of Britain and Canada, Margaret Thatcher and Brian Mulroney, of how their friend and our former president fought against communism. A fight that continued until the Soviet Union succumbed to American pressure and to its own failures.

Reagan's opponents, however, have not given up. They see the control of their ultimate prize -- America -- within their reach, acquired with their tried weapons of subversion, sedition and cunning. As he lay dying, some 2,000 of his enemies, called together by the Campaign for America's Future (CAF), arrived here to plot and conspire how to further infiltrate and control John Kerry's presidential campaign.

The Marxists haven't "returned", they never left (no pun intended. These people take the long view and they eat while we sleep. All things considered, they've largely gotten what they wanted and a quick look at the 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto will confirm it. The only thing left for them at this point is to get brazen about it which is why it looks like they've "returned."

Those who say that at first glance there isn't a dime's worth of difference between the two major political parties, need to peel away a few layers of the onion and reassess their opinion.

He is a regular contributor to the Tribune-Review. So far as I know, he has never been named. The Tribune is slowly but surely picking off subscribers from the ComPost-Gazette, Pittsburgh's other paper which has the predictable editorial slant of the Washinton Post. There is hope for Western Pennsylvania.

This article boils down the situation to a level that the most naive in politics can understand. This gives all the more reason to vote Republican this November.

It really amazes me to see what I *think* I'm seeing: because America never had to live under Communism, we are going to end up being its last refuge on Earth.

I keep thinking we should try to get the Russians and the Eastern Europeans to help us... maybe they can pay us back for liberating them by emigrating here and helping us get rid of our own Communists...

I read that 1 in 4 Americans make below 18K, which is in America absolute povery line and that number continue to grow as overall income drop. That and add to it mass illegals of low income and an elite that is seperated and non-serviced to the country, a gigantic debt and you have what was in Russia in 1905...all that is needed now is the catalyst of an international embarresment of a lost war or some such to spark the organization of these peoples by the communists.
