Responding to criticism that he didn't do enough to combat terror during his presidency, Bill Clinton spends much of the second half of his book detailing his efforts to capture or kill Osama bin Laden and other terrorists around the globe.
In the days after 9/11, Clinton was widely criticized for allowing al Qaeda to grow into a worldwide destructive force during his eight years in office a claim the former commander in chief vehemently denies in "My Life."
"Since we had been going after his organization for several years, I had known for some time that he was a formidable adversary," Clinton writes after mentioning dual car bombings of the American embassies in Tanzania and Kenya that killed 257 people.

Darn, the only celebrity book signer we're gonna get for a while is Rick Springfield.
I'd love to stand outside a Clinton signing with a billboard-size that simply says "LIAR".
The magnitude of Clinton's efforts are akin to O.J.'s in finding the real perpetrators. Both need only look in the mirror.
LOL!
"All the Federales say,
They could have had him any day.
They only let him slip away,
Out of kindness, I suppose."
--Haggard Merle/Willie Nelson, "Pancho and Lefty"
Perhaps he was hoping for a big catastrophe on his watch, so he could get a triple-Oklahoma City effect, and maybe even push through a constitutional amendment allowing him to stay in office.

I saw the ad for the Bill Clinton book in the Target circular today... what a thing to see while eating breakfast. But you also need to be wary on TV... I inadvertently subjected myself to one of those audio clips they are releasing... Bill Clinton talking about watching Martin Luther King, Jr. on TV and "deciding, then and there" to "steel his resolve" (or something like that) and "dedicate his life to making Rev. King's dream come true." I'm paraphrasing but that was the gist of it. At least he spared us more of his "memories" about church burnings....
This is like something you would see in a comedy, just something totally outrageously over the top. "The President who breaks every rule in the book for 8 years and the guy who comes after him who is in office for 10 seconds gets all the shiet!" It it wasn`t so true it would be hilarious. Now I`m reading how this 911 commision is now pulling this "No Iraq-Al-Qaida connection" so Bush is evil, Bush is the cause of everything. This is such a joke! I`m like excuse me, but after the gulf war did anyone actually believe that Saddam would just go to his room like a nice boy and behave? Well other than Democ-rats, but lets look at the big picture here. This is a psycho who was mighty pissed off when he was chucked out of Kuwait, he blew up oil wells, gassed the Kurds, then terror attacks against the US start increasing 10 fold. Oh what a coincidence. 3 guys who did the first WTC bombing came into the US with Iraqi passports, 2 went back to Iraq after it was done. Clinton knew Saddam was pissed, he knew Saddam wanted revenge, what did he do? NOTHING, unless it was to draw attention away from the blue dress. Al Qaida training camps found in Nothern Iraq, but this commission is spewing out this BS all week "No terror connection to Iraq". Are they kidding me? SADDAM was a terror connection! Everything about the guy was a terrorist and a direct threat to the US! We were at war with the guy for shiet sake! And instead of taking out Al Qiada to cut off Saddam from using them, what did Clinton do? NOTHING. Our Navy attacked? Oh no problem, just ignore it. The fact is we went in there, not only because he broke UN resolutions 10 billion times, but because if Saddam had any chance to give bio bombs or nukes to ANY terror group willing to attack the US, he would have done it in a milli-second! WHY is that so hard for liberals to believe? Do they actually think that he wouldn`t? That he was a nice boy who went home with his tail between his legs? Are they kidding me? Like Bush said, "If we wait, it will be too late". Damn straight! If there is one thing Bush did wrong is that his father didn`t take out Saddam in the first place, but if he did, we can plainly see by today what would have happened. We would have had all these liberals screaming bloody hell, and that makes me wonder if that isn`t the true reason why he didn`t do it in the first place. Matter of fact I distinctly remember some liberals saying that back then, "Why didn`t he take out Saddam in the first Gulf war?" Well now that we did it, now they are COMPLAINING about it! It`s a freggin` comedy.

Oh yes. Bill Klinton is a sociopath. Just ask Juanita Broaddrick or perhaps, were it possible, Ron Brown.
