IMHO, when "The People of The Book" actually realize what is going on in the world and this country (and this last beheading will push it all the more closer) - they will realize that THEY, THEIR WIVES AND CHILDREN are the actual targets of this.

This murder is a major miscalculation by AQ. It has solidified the danger to Saudi rule. The gloves are coming off...even their most popular clerics were demanding this guys safe return.

...Interesting point. I've had contacts with nation of islam members, selling incense and their newspaper on the street corner. I say the term to them as they walk by, because I'm white, I'm stereotyped. Not much time to debate, at a traffic light, but, they ask me first, are you muslim? Agreed. I've only been on FR for a year or so, maybe a little more... but if this is how most people here behave when it comes to elections, I think I'll take a nice little six month hiatus or something. I'll come back on November 3 and see a bunch of posts that'll express amazement over how Bush won with such a large margin of victory.
