President Bush is about to speak to our troops.
You can tell. These guys love him! WOW!
At an Iraqi university, a team is translating the great works of democracy into Arabic.
Electricity is being restored. Oil revenues reached more than 11 billion dollars since liberation. As the new president said last week, those revenues are not being used to build gaudy palaces, but to help the Iraqi people.
He returns to the message that the killers know they have no future in a free Iraq. They want us to abandon our mission, they want us to abandon our work, so they're attacking us. They don't understand America. When we say we are going to do something, we are going to finish the job. (applause).
We are not going to be intimidated--and neither is the new Iraqi Prime Minister.
His speech seems flawless,and energetic,contrasting John Mccain's stumbling with words even while looking directly at his speech. Mccain looked very tired,and without much energy, I hope he is OK.

Dear, Tom, I wasn't embarrassed....This is an entirely different group to speak to....You can't forget that presser..most have forgotten it. I recall his G8 presser...Great!
. The press does not ask the kind of questions that allow for this kind of expansion of his policies.
He also has all those wonderful soldiers cheering him on!
As President Bush observes, there are always pessimists--but they will not prevail.
Can we tamp down the pessimism, please?

President Bush read from it the other day so if Rush or Sean read from it yesterday, it is more likely they got it from GWB's other speech (in Florida, I believe it was) rather than vice versa.
