Psychology professor pleads not guilty: LIBERAL CRAZY COMMITS HATE CRIME ON SELF

LOS ANGELES — A visiting Claremont McKenna College professor who claimed someone vandalized her car with racist and anti-Semitic slurs pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of filing a false police report and insurance fraud.

Kerri Francis Dunn, 39, of Redlands, appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Pomona and entered a not guilty plea to two felony counts of insurance fraud and a misdemeanor charge of filing a false police report.

If convicted on all counts, Dunn faces a sentence ranging from probation to six years in prison, said Martin Bean, the deputy district attorney assigned to the case.

Dunn was scheduled to return to court July 19 for a jury trial.

Telephone calls made to Dunn’s attorney, Gary Lincenberg, were not immediately returned.

Dunn, a visiting psychology professor, claimed that she discovered the vandalism of her car March 9 while she was on the Claremont campus preparing a lecture for a forum on racism.

The next day, she called her insurance company about the vandalism and items stolen from the car, authorities said. Police and the FBI began investigating, but Dunn became a suspect after two witnesses came forward and reported seeing Dunn vandalizing the car herself.

Her report of the alleged hate crime forced officials to cancel classes March 10 at the five undergraduate Claremont campuses and thousands of students staged sit-ins to protest what was believed to be part of a series of racial incidents at the colleges.

Dunn, who remains on leave from Claremont McKenna College, has denied any wrongdoing.

Thank God there wasn't a false report of a stranded whale. That gets them to waste even more time and money. Cancel classes on 5 campuses over a stupid vandalism incident - and a fake one at that? These people are so full of it. I guess it never occurred to them that no matter who did the vandalism, they were giving them EXACTLY the attention they wanted. What morons.

Law & Order now has a storyline for a new episode!

Except, as usual, they will leave out the part about the person doing it to themselves and blame it on some wacko right wing Christian extremist. Never fails.

She did it for the money. She trashed her car for the insurance, or if leased, to escape the balloon payment due at the end of the contract. Larceny was the motive. "Racism" had nothing to do with it.

I learned that if you hold up this nutcase's story, the SF art dealer story, the anti-Republican protestor school story, etc. ad nauseum to the myopic eyes of the American people, then perhaps they will finally start to see who and what makes up that noxious entity called Liberalism.

Didn't I learn in my days in public school that there was something in the constitution about being Innocent until proven guilty. She says that she did not do anything wrong. Until she is convicted, maybe we should keep an open mind. Maybe the two who say they saw her are the perpetrators themselves. Even the title of this thread is inappropriate. I stand by the Constitution on this one, as I always do. Can you all say the same?

Apparently the cops have witnesses who say this loonie prof vandalize her own car. She has been in trouble with the law in the past.

What really galls is the college administrators who jumped to the conclusion that students had vandalized it...will they issue an apology I wonder? Libs are famous for apologizing to evey tom dick and harry......but not to the victims.

Oh Geez! How sanctimonious can someone get?

The Constitution only applies to government proceedings, not the court of public opinion. As a matter of fact, your attempt to restrain my opinion on this matter is violating my 1st. Amendment rights.

It might be better for you to understand the Constitution before claiming to stand by things not in it.  It'll save a lot of embarrassment on your part.

Innocent until proven guilty is a restraint on government, not on private opinions.
