Upcoming title at Amazon.com. Here is the editorial comment
Watching Michael Moore in action -- passing off manipulating facts in Bowling for Columbine, spinning statistics in Stupid White Men and Dude, Where's My Country?, shamelessly grandstanding at the Academy Awards, and epitomizing the hypocrisy he's made a king's fortune railing against -- has spurred authors David T. Hardy and Jason Clarke to take action into their own hands. In Michael Moore Is a Big Fat Stupid White Man, Hardy and Clarke dish it back hard to the fervent prophet of the far left, turning a careful eye on Moore's use of camera tricks and publicity ploys to present his own version of the truth.
Postwar documentarians gave us the documentary, Rob Reiner gave us the mockumentary, and Moore initiated a third genre, the crockumentary.
How, they ask, does Moore pull off a proletarian, "man-of-the-people" image so at odds with his lifestyle as a fabulously wealthy Manhattanite? And how large of an impact do his incendiary, ill-founded polemics have on the growing community that follows him with near-religious devotion? Loaded with well-researched, solidly reasoned arguments, and laced with irreverent wit, Michael Moore Is a Big Fat Stupid White Man fires back at one of the left's biggest targets -- politically and literally.
Who?
I preordered a copy.
Michael Moore?
Who's he?
I do know a gentleman named Neal Moore, but he's not fat and not stupid, so they couldn't be writing about him...
Ugly...they forgot ugly!!!
The title of the book is superfluous and redundant.
I'm assuming there's a good reason for this.
He looks like Jerrold Nadler?
Preordered 2 copies...
Love the title! Will there be a movie? hehehe
The book asks how Moore is able to portray himself as a normal, average guy when he's so rich and powerful in Hollywood and lives a luxurious lifestyle. I would imagine that his sloppy, dirty appearance is calculated for that purpose. If he tried to lose weight, shaved, or wore something besides ratty t-shirts and caps, people might realize how much money he has and how much he's used his so-called truth seeking to profit off of everyone else. I doubt he minds getting called fat and ugly--it's part of his crafted image and he can't work to change.

This is one southern, low class, white trash, Republican voting registered Democrat that WILL NOT be seeing this piece of garbage.
I firmly believe the reason many wealthy men and women become liberals is simple White Man's Guilt, compounded by the fact that these people are so wealthy, they've lost touch with what it takes to make---and more importantly to KEEP---money. And because the money they pony up in taxes, etc. is a drop-in-the-bucket to them, they willingly transfer the fiscal burden of their liberalism on the working middle class, masked in shameless ideological altruism.
"I'm assuming there's a good reason for this".
Yeah, the fact that its a rare anti-Moore book. Do you have a problem with that?
Nope. My main problem is the fact that I'm a dumba$$ that misunderstood who's book you were preordering. PM and apologies sent.
O'Reilly said he saw the film yesterday and ran into Moore. Moore said he'd go on Bill's show. Should be interesting.
"O'Reilly said he saw the film yesterday and ran into
Moore".
Is O'Reilly OK?
