TELLING THE TOOTH Despite a temporary loss of wrinkles, Senator John Kerry denied claims earlier this year that he underwent Botox treatments. But there's no denying the aftereffects of a piece of cosmetic work he had done yesterday. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee emerged from a morning of seclusion in Washington with two new pearly-white-capped teeth at a airport rally in Atlantic City. The noticeably improved smile is not only bright, it corrects the angled teeth and one prior miscolored cap. Ever coy, Kerry aides said he had the crown replaced on his right front tooth (previously lost in a hockey injury) and a new crown placed on the lesser tooth beside it (the focus of a recent root-canal procedure). Other than that, the aides insist he had his teeth cleaned but not whitened. Still, the high-wattage smile was apparent as Kerry headed off by helicopter for a fund-raiser at the home of rock star Jon Bon Jovi, himself the veteran of a canine cap job.

As far as his teeth go, to me he looks like a horse. Always has. Those teeth are too long & look like they need to be filed down.

There is nothing authentic about Kerry.
One thing we heard repeatedly about Ronald Reagan last week was that he was "comfortable in his own skin," meaning he didn't try to be anything or anyone other than himself. George W. Bush also is comfortable with who and what he is.
Kerry, on the other hand, doesn't have a clue. He's constantly reinventing himself, from war hero to war protester, from a guy who meets with the Viet Cong to the most patriotic human being alive. He skit-skats from one pursuit to another (snowboarding, biking, guitar playing, hockey, windsurfing), looking less like a renaissance man and more like a hyperactive dilettante. To add to his insecurity, his overbearing, psycho wife seems to be trying to reinvent his physical appearance, thus the Botox and capped teeth. It's all rather pathetic - and not at all presidential.
I'm 44 too. I went to Catholic school for 5 years, then was transferred to public school after Vatican II was implemented. This elementary school (my daughter has just a few days left in this hole-thank God) is full of people who hang their sheets on hangers, instead of placing them neatly folded in the linen closet. 35 years later, it's still business as usual. I got my butt kicked for being Catholic, and the teachers and principal didn't do anything. That's okay, my kids are mean and don't put up with anyone's crap ;-) I didn't have a problem with queers, but by the time I got into high school I didn't bother showing up except for finals.
What you went through was pretty bad. Creepy, nasty old men are worse than the Klan.
That's why I ditched. I got plenty of exercise hopping 12 ft. chain link fences. Caught my hind end on the barbed wire once, though. Running from the cops was even better exercise.
I don't want to mention one teacher's name, but I still remember her to this day. Eeeeeyuck! I'm glad that you all were able to develop a way to handle the situation. Homeschooling is the way to go.
Kerry looks extremely ill in some of those pics. Like he has jaundice, or something. I wouldn't be surprised if besides having a physical disorder, he also has a pyschiatric one too. Narcissism?

Great caption. It's really all too pathetic. He's sooo much like Gore; trying to make himself look like what he thinks will appeal to the crowds. Gore got his teeth fixed too. And remember Gore's new look when he came out in earth tones? I guess that will be next for Kerry.
