There is nothing authentic about Kerry.
One thing we heard repeatedly about Ronald Reagan last week was that he was "comfortable in his own skin," meaning he didn't try to be anything or anyone other than himself. George W. Bush also is comfortable with who and what he is.
Kerry, on the other hand, doesn't have a clue. He's constantly reinventing himself, from war hero to war protester, from a guy who meets with the Viet Cong to the most patriotic human being alive. He skit-skats from one pursuit to another (snowboarding, biking, guitar playing, hockey, windsurfing), looking less like a renaissance man and more like a hyperactive dilettante. To add to his insecurity, his overbearing, psycho wife seems to be trying to reinvent his physical appearance, thus the Botox and capped teeth. It's all rather pathetic - and not at all presidential.
