WASHINGTON —John Kerry's wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, touts herself as "sexy" and "cheeky" in an interview being broadcast tonight.
"I'm cheeky, I'm sexy, whatever. You know, I've got a lot of life inside," the 65-year-old first-lady wannabe says with a giggle in an interview with CBS News.
When CBS correspondent Byron Pitts tells her that not many women her age say they're sexy, she quips, "How many of that age have you asked?"
Her comments were sparked by her husband's description of her as "saucy, sexy, brilliant."
Mrs. Kerry has spoken publicly of her fondness for Botox injections to smooth her wrinkles, a revelation that fueled rumors that her husband, 60, had used Botox, too. He denied it.

Calling yourself "sexy" is like calling yourself "classy" or "humble" -- if you have to say it about yourself, you're not.
In the advanced stages she'll do something like unveiling a portrait of herself or building a library with her name on it.

Are you kidding? W/ half a billion dollars at her beck and call, she -- or any woman, no matter what her age -- could look like a gorilla and still be considered sexy.

She's juvenile, and delusional. Shallow mind, to think in her mid 60's and she defines herself in such a crass way, sounds more like she forgot to mature gracefully, and develop other talents. Then again, maybe she didn't have any, except of course, for the ones Sen. Heinz left her.
Just because you can whisper in her ear and get an echo does not qualify for sexy status.

I think it's pathetic, that she is in her mid-sixties and publicly describes herself as "sexy." Kind of like wearing sleazy leopard prints under a kimono.
