Somalis in Maine? Did they move them there because of the similar climate?

I would want it all of course ---> the house would have to be in Dublin, LOL.
Interesting passage in your profile, BTW.

I'd agree with you, and it's sad to say that we'd consider ourselves lucky with a homicide bomber.

C-Span continued to carry the press conference and the press asked more questions about the "torture memo" than about an AQ plot to blow up a large shopping mall in America.

Not Clancy's best work..On the other hand, the last Clancy book I liked was Rainbow Six.
I concur. I found the "Bear and the Dragon"'s plot to be much weaker than usual, and some subplots were outright abandoned (like the British unit said to be training for duty in Russia, which is never heard of again).
Rainbow Six was much harder to put down.

I am at the point where their idiocy is no longer shocking. Chicago could get hit by a dirty bomb and the media would ask about panties on the head of some criminal at Abu Gharaib (sp?).

Minneapolis has the second largest Somali population in the US behind NYC. They work everywhere - most often in parking ramps, at the airport, and as taxi drivers. We have 1,200 (if not more by now) of Somali's living in Lewiston, Maine. Last I heard, 49 were working. The rest of them are on state welfare.

Thats because 80% of them as commie lackeys. They don't matter, as the election draws near Bush will go right over their heads. A commercial detailing the attacks that have been stopped dead in their tracks palying in the heartland will do nicely. It will force the press to cover it and more importantly, inform the people that the "free press" has been remiss in informing them of the danger of jihadism.

Dublin is a great city. I've got a good friend who has a business there and lives there. He loves it.
I had a liberal internet stalker about a year ago. It copied a phrase I had there before as some sort of demonstration as to how much it knew about me so I figured I'd give it something to read the next time it checked in.

I worked there 12 years ago and it was always packed. I have driven past it on the interstate and there is so much construction going on in front of it for expansion that it would appear to be easy to sneak a bomb-laden truck up and not have anyone notice.

Post Jack Ryan presidency too. Resigned to let Robby Jackson be the first black president and Jackson gets assasinated soon afterward. Well, thanks for spoiling the surprise...LOL

Daughter says Columbus second larget city for Somalians in US. Lots of Muslims in Columbus too. There is a huge mall across from the state house. Daughter says this was probably the target. Would make sense.

32 year-old Somali from Columbus Ohio...conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists..fraud and misuse of documents. Wonder what all the Somali's in Lewiston, Maine have on their mind?

This is from 2002 but I have always read that we (Mpls) have the largest Somali population. If I remember correctly, Minneapolis has a pretty big mall.

We could either move the malls (not an option) or move the Somalis back to Somalia. They are a big drain on Maine's welfare system.

"It copied a phrase I had there before as some sort of demonstration as to how much it knew about me so I figured I'd give it something to read the next time it checked in."Pretty scary stuff.
I got lost in Dublin last week (I wrote down the wrong directions for Muirfield) and was just in awe of what I saw there. Just confirmed the notion that it would be the ultimate destination for one who lives in Columbus.
