MINNEAPOLIS — A man accused of providing support to Al Qaeda (search) trained in martial arts and with weapons, taught English to Al Qaeda members and joined the Taliban (search) front lines, according to an FBI affidavit.

Terror suspect Mohammed Warsame, 30, twice saw combat with front line units of the Taliban while in Afghanistan and once sat next to Usama bin Laden (search) at a meal, said the affidavit, which investigators said was based on interviews with Warsame.

"The defendant stated that bin Laden was very inspirational," according to the affidavit.

The Somalia-based Islamic group Al-Itihaad al-Islamiya operates a fund-raising arm in the metropolitan area which has raised money from Somalis, according to a federal law enforcement official and local Somalis.

Some Somalis said that those who contributed in Minnesota thought the group was a charity.

President Bush, however, froze assets of Al-Itihaad and 26 other people and organizations because of links to Bin Laden or his terrorist organization Al-Qaida, and barred future donations to them.

Why thanks so much. She just loves Columbus. Loves the buildings and other structures. She loves the parks too. She did a great photo shoot at the botanical gardens when they had the big blown glass exhibit. Gilhooly was amoung the artists shown. Got to go in after hours and had the whole exhibit to herself and shot 10-12 rolls of film. I have some of the pictures she took, the exhibit was gorgous. I drooled. :)

Hardly likely. RINO Gov. Taft made it so complicated that there are few places to carry legally, even if you choose to go through all the BS to actually obtain a permit.

The Ohio CCW law was specifically designed to ensure there will be many technical violations by permit holders technical misdemeanors and felonies)so as to make the law useless.

Which was why they put a state trooper 24/7 on I-75 outside the mosque north of Cincinnati. They were afraid of a drive-by bombing of some sort.
